I haven't written anything since may so I have no clue how this will go 😦 also im going to start writing again :)
- CLAY POV -
Me, George and Alex were walking through campus aiming to get to the cafe round the corner as the food here wasn't exactly the best.
"So Clay how did you and George meet?" Alex said while stuffing his hands into his coat pockets
He looks distracted
"Well I actually work in Morrisons in town and George walked in one day and ever since then I guess we've just kind of ran into each-other could say we're soul mates perhaps??" I said the last part quickly before shooting George a smirk receiving an eye roll in return but not being turned down which is interesting to say the least.
After afew more random conversations and learning about Alex and George, George had felt the need to announce we made it "We're here finally that walk felt so long" he said with a smile attached to his face
He looks so cute
God I should pull myself together, come on clay.
After sitting down together by the window Alex had picked up the menu and started reading it leaving me and George to wait our turn
"GUYS" Alex shouted out louder than he should of gaining few concerned looks from older people, god I hate when the elderly don't mind there own business
"Alex what Jesus Christ your making old Brenda look over" George whispers playfully pointing towards the old lady that had just turned back around after glaring our way
"Sorry sorry.. But look they sell SUSHI"
"Alex sushi sucks ass.."
"George is right" As always stayed unsaid george surely wouldn't want unneeded complements right?
"okay fine you weirdos but I'm getting sushi" alex mumbled leaning back and sliding the menu over to me and George
George spent afew minutes looking at the menu till deciding he didn't know what he wanted and was insisting that I chose for him
"Clay pleaseeee, there's too many options" he carried out the e in please annoyingly as if he where a child
I laughed at his attempt of puppy eyes and finally caved in "Okay fine but don't complain"
He shrugged "Alright dreamie thanks"
dreamie?
"So I'm dreamie now?"
George hummed a yes to this looking pleased with himself
"Ew guys stop flirting"
Alex drew the attention to him by making gagging sounds out of disgust at mine and George's apparent 'flirty nature'
"Yeah georgie stop flirting with me" i whispered in his ear causing him to jump slightly before leaning back and whispering to me
"Never" he winked playfully after
this boy
I thought while he continued raising and lowering his eyebrows in a seductive manor, weird ways of flirting these days honestly.

"And a sushi for you, will you be paying cash or card?"
The waiter said while writing something down before raising his chin up to look at all of us
Alex muttered a thank you to the man before stating we would pay the bill through cash which he then handed to the man and insisted that me and George now owed him
typical Alex behaviour really
"Enjoy your food boys" the waiter smiled before sliding a note across the table directed to me.
He then walked off seconds before George and Alex turned to me curious of what the paper said
I opened it and looked at the number he had left with a small text me next to it
"So?" George edged me on
I cleared my throat confused by this gesture as-well
"Well It's his number I'm pretty sure"
George looked confused at this and I swear I saw a flash of annoyance grow on his face till he blinked it away quickly and smiled looking away to meet Alex's eyes
Alex then spoke up looking from George to me with confusion masked on his face
"Well will you text him or.. I mean he's pretty cute?" He laid the comment out as if testing the possible waters
Personally I'm not attracted to the man, who would be when I have George sat next to me?
Again these thoughts have to go.
"I'm not going to text him, no" I paused before continuing on
"I'm sort of into someone right now anyway" I mumbled looking at George to see how he would react to this
He simply sat upright and smiled slightly
well that's a start
I think it is anyway.

- LATER THAT DAY -
It's my first practice for football today and I will admit I'm slightly nervous.
George and I were talking and he told me that I'll be great at it but I'm still scared to meet the team, what if I don't fit in?
Maybe it was obvious in the way I kept my eyes on the floor but George definitely picked up on my anxiety over this,
"Your going to be fine Dream" he smiled while looking at me
"I know but I just" I paused
why am I scared?
"I don't know" I mumbled as we walked up to the sports area gate
I stopped outside the gate
"Maybe this isn't a good idea.."
George span me around so we would be face to face
"Dream." He looked my in the eyes thoughtfully.
"I'll be here watching you practice the whole time I know you'll be great and I'm sure the team will love you. Now go show them the Great person I know you are."
Every word he said the more my mind felt at ease, he's right I can do it.
We exchanged smiled before he walked over to the bench and sat down giving me a thumbs up so I'd walk over to the team.
There's no turning back now.

incase anyone forgot what's going on (dw me too) Alex clay and George went to get lunch together because ew school food they spoke for a bit dream got a phone number and then George walked dream to his first football practice because he was scared umm next chapter he's gonna meet the team so 🤭👍
