Through the whole thing Sakura was giving me commentary, telling me every move Sasuke made, she was pretty good at it too. That changed when she told me she had to leave to check on Sasuke. I obviously agreed; he’s more important than me. My body had gone numb from the pain so I didn’t mind. I just waited, listening to everything happening to try and get a good picture of what was going on. I narrowed my eyes when I heard the woman’s voice change pitch into a male’s. My breath hitched in my throat,

“My name is, Orochimaru.” He announced. The rest was a blur, that name; that is the name Kakashi told me to watch out for also. No wounder we couldn’t win! He’s an S rank criminal! I winced when I heard Sasuke’s cries of pain, I smiled when they stopped but my smile faded when I heard Sakura cry,

“Naruto! I need you! Sasuke’s hurt!” I felt tears form in my eyes. I slowly rolled onto my side, then only my stomach, I winced as the numbness started to fade and my back slowly started aching,

“S-Sakura.” I called. I slowly did some hand signs and bit my thumb, “S-Summoning jutsu.” I whispered, just as I did, 3 dogs appeared, I cursed. I meant to summon more but my strength is gone,

“Hiya.” Pakuun greeted. I smiled weakly at him, “So I’m guessing this is an emergency due to the fact that you’re only allowed to summon us under Kakashi’s orders.” Pakuun looked around, “And it’s quite obvious that’s he’s not here right now.” I chuckled,

“Pakuun, Yukuri, Diamon. Can you please help Sakura carry everyone?” They nodded and set off for Sakura. Pakuun, being the stubborn dog he was, stayed where he was sitting. I sighed,

“Please?” He shook his head,

“I’m gonna help you first. Since it’s quite obvious that you’re out of energy, do you want me to summon Paws?” I smiled sheepishly,

“If you wouldn’t mind.” I smiled and Pakuun’s mouth tilted up into a toothy grin that all dogs did when they smiled,

“Rest Ayame. You’ll heal quicker. We’ll help Sakura and the others, don’t worry.” I nodded and let my eyes slowly close.

I groaned and opened my eyes, it was dark now. I sat up, surprised that my back no longer hurt,

“Wow! Careful! You hurt your back really bad!” Sakura scolded,

“Then… Why doesn’t it hurt?” I asked puzzled while stupidly twisting around. Sakura growled and hit me over the head,

“I told you not to move!” She yelled, my hands quickly reached for the place she hit,

“Ow! Gomen gomen!” I apologised quickly, Sakura just sighed,

“That little dog called Pakuun gave me some medication.” She finally answered, “He told me that it’ll numb the nerves in your back so you won’t feel the pain but it won’t heal the injury.” I nodded,

“Can’t be anything to serious. I probably just pulled a muscle.” Sakura nodded. I looked down and saw Sasuke and Naruto sleeping beside me, “Are they ok?” I asked. Sakura’s face turned sad,
