I sighed as we walked calmly towards Tazuna's village; Sasuke hadn't said anything else since Sakura. I groaned when I stepped in a puddle,

"Damn it!" I stepped out of it and shook my leg; I suddenly stopped Wait a minute! It hasn't rained! I looked up in alarm at Kakashi, he shot me a knowing look then turned back to face forwards. I smirked, that tricky jonin. Kakashi noticed the same thing; I forced myself to calm down. I put my hood over my head and pulled my mask up, there's going to be a showdown, Sasuke gave me a confused look. I ignored him and looked around, I spotted slight movement and I immediately pulled out my swords, Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke and Tazuna all looked at me in alarm. I quickly rushed to Tazuna's side just as chains sprang out of the bushes. I screamed as they wrapped around Kakashi and tore him apart. I clenched my teeth and looked around,

"Sakura! Naruto! Sasuke! Concentrate!" I yelled,

"One little piggy." I jumped at the voice, a rain ninja exploded from the bushes, my eyes widened, I've seen him in one of kakashi's bingo books!

"Where's the other one!" I hissed, I quickly spun my swords around, "I'm gonna have to leave you Tazuna, I can guarantee your not going to die." He didn't say anything and I ran for the ninja,

"Two little piggy's." I gasped when the other ninja went for Naruto,

"Naruto! MOVE!" I screamed at him, he looked around in horror! I jumped in front of him and tried to fend him off, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING NARUTO!" I yelled at him, I gasped when the ninja got past me and went straight for Naruto. He immediately stiffened, the ninja reached out but I grabbed his armour and pulled as hard as I could. He flailed about and scratched Naruto, the ninja went flying into a tree. I took in a deep breath when I realised that there was another one and it was going right for Sakura! "SAKURA!" I yelled, I started running towards them but Sasuke then hopped in the way, I quickly put my swords away and was about to make a hand sign when out of nowhere Kakashi appeared, slamming against the ninja. He smiled,

"Hiya." I let out a sigh of relief; I looked up at the sky, that was too close. "Good work Sakura, Sasuke, Ayame." I nodded, still a little flustered, Kakashi turned to Naruto, "Sorry Naruto, I would've come in sooner but I didn't know you'd just freeze up like that." Naruto growled, I stood properly and walked over to Naruto, he looked at the ground guiltily. I grinned and slapped him on the back,

"I think you did pretty damn good." He turned and smiled a little at me,

"Arigato Ayame-chan." I chuckled then looked darkly at the two ninja's, best known as the demon brothers. Naruto was about to run over when I stopped him, I shook my head,

"Naruto, Kakashi once made me study his bingo book in case I got stuck in a situation like this," Naruto looked at me confused, "Do not move Naruto, these ninja have poison in their claws." His face turned to horror; I looked over at Kakashi,

"Oto-san! Naruto has to be brought to the village A.S.A.P." He nodded and looked back at Tazuna,

"We have to go back, this is beyond the scope of our original mission. If we knew there we're going to be assassins after you-" I zoned out then, I jumped when Naruto pulled out a kunai and stabbed himself with it,

"NARUTO!" I yelled, he started to make a vow. When he was finished I gave him a serious look, "You have to keep that Naruto." He nodded,

"I plan to." He whispered back,

"Uh, Naruto, that was cool and all but if you lose anymore blood, your gonna die." I looked at Kakashi surprised,

"Really?" Naruto immediately started to freak out." I tried to calm him while Kakashi checked his wound. Kakashi quickly bandaged it up. We finally decided on continuing on with the mission, I of course cheered like a maniac earning a hurtful comment from Tazuna.

I sighed and looked around wearily, we were on a boat heading into Tazuna's little village. I had decided to keep my mask on for the rest of the mission, my eyes widened when I saw a huge bridge,

"Wow..." I whispered,

"WOW! That's so cool!" Naruto practicly yelled,

"Shut up!" The driver of the boat ordered, "Don't you know why we're paddling? So it's quieter!" Naruto put his hand over his mouth and didn't say another word. I rolled my eyes and stared up in awe at the bridge. I looked down into the water, my blue eyes shone and my white hair blowed along in the breeze. Smiled but you could barely see it from under the mask. I shrugged; I sat back into the boat again,

"I've decided." I whispered, "I'm going to wear my mask every time I go out of the village." Kakashi smiled his eye closing smile,

"Why is that?" I shrugged,

"I don't know. Just for fun." He nodded and I turned to Sasuke who was staring at me. I closed my eyes and grinned, he just smirked,

"It's gonna be hell trying to tell your facial expressions." I laughed, but was soon shushed by the boat driver. I rolled my eyes but kept quiet. We finally arrived at his village. We quickly hopped out of the boat; I looked around in aw,

"This place! I-It's beautiful!" Tazuna came up beside me,

"It won't be much longer if Gato gets his way." I clenched my jaw,

"That is something that will not happen Mr. Tazuna." He grunted and I turned back to Kakashi.

"So what are we going to do now Kaka sensei?" He shrugged,

"Well I want you to take me to my home. Unharmed." Kakashi nodded and we set off towards Tazuna's house. We were about half way there when Naruto decided to act all high and mighty,

"Over there!" He threw a kunai randomly into the bush. He got up and shrugged, "It was just a mouse." Tazuna growled while Sakura pointed at him accusingly,

"A mouse! Yea right! Everyone can see through your stupid act!"

"Naruto! Those are kunai knives! Don't handle them so carelessly!" I growled,

"Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!" I yelled at him,

"WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO SCARE ME YOU SRUFFY LITTLE DEWARF!" Tazuna yelled at him, Naruto seemed unfazed and continued to 'search' for ninja,

"Over there? No. Over there!" Naruto randomly threw a kunai into another bush; I punched him over the head,

"Naruto you baka! Go fetch your kunai now!" He slumped and went in to retrieve it, I jumped when I heard him cry out. We all rushed into the bush to find Naruto snuggling close to a snow white rabbit. I gasped and took a step back, drawing my swords. Sasuke looked at me with concern,

"Ayame, what's wro-"

"DUCK!" I yelled as a big ass sword came flying at us. I looked up to see a tall man sitting on top of the sword, I looked at him in horror, "Z-Z-Z-"

"Zabuza Momochi. Demon of the hidden mist village." I couldn't help it, my hands were shaking, Kakashi told me about him and what he did. I swallowed and tried to force myself to stay calm. They would really go this far to kill Tazuna?
