"So, you were the one who fought with Dad that night," Irene says when I finished telling them the story. All of them are wearing the same shocked expression because of what I've just revealed.

I nod. "Yes."

"We all saw each other that night," Tzuyu says, "Well...expect from Jeongyeon and Jihyo."

"But...how come, you're the only one who can remember what happened?" Mina asks. "Why can't I remember even a bit of my memories?"

"I don't know," the only words I say.

"Don't you really remember the events after we sent you outside of B.M.?" Dahyun asks. "Even a glimpse?"

I shake my head. "I can't remember it. I think I lost my consciousness when Tzuyu punched me. That's the only possible explanation why I don't remember anything after that."

Ugh. I'm so frustrated with myself right now. Instead of having answers, we're stuck, confused by these sudden questions.

"I didn't lose my memories that night," Irene says. We all look at her. "I can remember everything that happened."

"What do you mean?" Mina asks.

Irene takes a deep breath. "My Dad and I...We weren't affected by the so-called syndrome."

"How is that possible?" I ask.

It took several moments before Irene finally answers my question. "Remember when I told you that the government called my Dad because of some important business?"

We all nod.

"Well...the important business that I was talking about, it had something to do with extraterrestrial beings."

"I knew it," Tzuyu says. "That's the reason why your Dad became more obsessed with aliens, right? Because of that so-called important business with the government."

Irene nods. "Yes. Those government officials...they knew that some of the extraterrestrial beings were starting to get to our world. They contacted us."

Our eyes suddenly wided.

"But my dad and the other scientist with him thought that was just a friendly interaction between the government and the extraterrestrial beings. They're all happy that time because the time has come; they can all say that someone exists on the other planet."

"But my dad started to get suspicious. He knew that the government was still hiding something from them. He tried to ask, but he didn't get any answers. Until one day, the government ordered him and another scientist to do a strange vaccine."
