I would just like to apologize for taking so long to update the final part of the first act. A combination of schoolwork and me working on other projects unfortunately led to a spike in motivation when writing the final few chapter parts. I cannot apologize enough for leaving interested readers hanging, and hope that this final part was at least kind of worth the preposterously long wait.
Writing this series has been an absolute blast and an invaluable stepping stone in improving my skills as a writer. A lot of passion went into planning and writing this silly little story about talking Pokémon. Although I am not entirely sure if I will continue the story from this point onwards, the process of creating this story and listening to feedback has been nothing short of amazing.
I will finish this notice off by thanking all the readers who bothered to check this little story out. It truly means the world to me to have others reading and enjoying what I've written, and I appreciate any opportunity to make others happy through writing. Thank you all.

3/3/2023 - I've changed the title of this story, as I felt like the former name of "Explorers of Spirit" may conflict with the 2022 fan mod with a nearly identical name. (Plus, I think it's cooler in retrospect)
I'll try to go back to a weekly schedule regarding posting new chapter parts.
3/9/23 - I've recently noticed how the version of Retribution posted for a while ended up being an old draft rather than the final thing. I'm very sorry for butchering what should have been a pivotal moment in the story. The chapter part has been updated.
3/31/23 - I've posted Rising Spirits onto Archive of Our Own, and in the process, managed to edit several older chapters to better improve cohesiveness and consistency while leaving major story beats completely intact. I will likely be updating the newly updated chapter parts in the next couple of days. I hope the changes will benefit the overall story without being too alienating for long-time readers.
5/6/23- Following a brief, chapter-long interlude will be the final batch of chapters in this story. Thank you for sticking around for this long, and I hope that the finale to this little series will prove satisfying.
