The Vileplume, Feraligatr, and Garchomp focused their gazes solely on the three new arrivals, all of whom froze in place the moment they caught a glimpse of Jett's piercing, yellow eyes. Bitter memories of their encounter at the Dawnbreak Woods instantly began to resurface within Trevor's mind, causing his limbs to tremble in anticipation.

"So," the Vileplume spoke while calmly tipping his cap. "You are the ones who have been such great waves as of late."

"They don't look all that tough to me." the Garchomp mused with a condescending grin, "Look- they're too petrified by our presence to even move!"

"Like you're one to talk, Omega," Baron angrily retorted, "I don't want to hear anything from someone who cowered in fear as Zephyr was getting killed!"

Omega rolled his eyes while slouching against his marble throne. "What's that I hear from someone who wasn't there to help either?"

"I was  halfway across the world!" Baron spat, "You, meanwhile, were probably just busying yourself with autographs and sponsorship contracts while the rest of us rushed towards Sunrise Town as fast as we could-"

"Alright, alright, let's break it up!" Madeline ordered annoyedly, "What happened, happened; it's too late to do anything about it now. Nobody was able to stop Zephyr from dying. We all failed to be there for him when he needed us most..." The Charizard's face became wracked with sorrow. "It's too late to do anything now, so just... give it a rest."

The Vileplume shook his head and raised his petunia cap. "Speaking of late, Madeline, what took you so long to get here?" he suddenly asked. "You really should read those dungeon navigation guides I recommended."

"Not the time." Madeline muttered emotionlessly before heaving a great sigh. "...I will by the next time I see you."

"That's what you said the last time you saw me," the Vileplume replied with a subtle grin, "Forgive me if I'm less than convinced."

"Oh, stuff it, Locke." Madeline bickered, a tiny bit of life returning to her face. With a slight nudge, she directed her three escorts towards the meeting place's center. "C'mon guys," she encouraged, "Let's have a seat so we can get started."

Both Trevor and Aiden tentatively inched towards two of the vacant thrones which stood encircled around a pile of brilliant, blue flowers. Jett slammed her pincer against the arm of her throne to release a powerful, echoing clang before the pair even had a chance to consider sitting on them.

"Don't," she ordered forcefully, "Those thrones are for the Legend Ranks alone. If you wish to sit,  do so over there." Jett rigidly shoved a pincer towards a small stone slab which lazily lay to the side. Trevor and Aiden immediately followed Jett's order so as to avoid angering her further while Luka sat idly onto the floor instead.

Turning her head to the side, Jett then proceeded to wave towards a small, unidentified figure beside a tall stack of boulders who, upon being motioned towards, moved forwards to reveal the sharp, purple eye of a nervous-looking Aegislash.

"Percival!" Aiden gasped, prompting the Aegislash to wave wildly towards her.

"Hey, Trevor! Aiden! ...Tall human!" Percival clamored excitedly, "How have you three been?!"

Focus, Percival," Jett ordered, immediately causing the Aegislash to straighten up attentively. "Commence with the introduction."

Without delay, Percival turned away from the trio and began speaking in a clear voice. "Following the recent, unexpected passing of Zephyr, the Legend Ranks have unanimously agreed that a meeting is necessary to determine what should be done concerning the threat which has taken his life. Seeing as how Zephyr is no longer with us, Jett has bestowed upon me the great honor of calling attendance in his place!
