Hello!! <3
My name is Sara and this is my second attempt to write something in english and this is the translation from my Italian FanFiction with the same name that you can easily find in this account. It's a challenge for me and even if I am reeeeally slow with translation but I want to translate this one as well.
Before starting to read this story, I would like to say a few words.
I started writing the first draft of this story as a teenager, in my high school years, so that was my very first attempt of writing something... before knowing that was a name for it, fan fiction. So, a couple of years later, around the 2009-ish I published it on an italian site, but then I decided to delete this story due to a couple of very negative comments that I did not expect.
Later that year, I've decided to delete my account on that website and half the chapter went lost (my PC at one point stopped working and didn't haven't a backup, silly me!) and I still decided to publish the few chapter I still had on wattpad without modifying it...because I hoped to find some new good ideas to write again.
After so many years, around 10 from that moment of promises - to me and to my friends - I decided to get back to my Star Trek story and finally the time has come. I start rewritten the story for the very beginning, from 2 female children, one human named Ashley and one vulcan name T'Dal, I've decided to write of the Vulcan one, because I found more... interesting and fun to write about. I must admit even if the seven chapters are very near to the original ones.
Be patient if the chapters are not updated or published consistently, but it is a story that I want to reach its end without haste.
The series is set during the classic series, the characters may not be exactly as expected from the TV series or the first six films, from which I will distance myself at some point.and some choices may be strange, but there are no descriptions to to refer to and I made up.... so that's why I've decided to add the "alternate universe" and the "OOC" between others tags.
Please, note that English isn't my mother language, so I beg your pardon for any mistakes and oddities... and any correction by English speaking is welcome.
The Title of this fan fiction is a song by David Bowie, one of my favorite singer of all times.
