She spoke again but this time it was sadness instead of anger. She stood up abruptly. All the weakness vanished from her like magic. She didn't want to believe this.

"WHY! You lied to me all this time" she spoke in despair

"Everything was fake? All those midnight calls and meetups, all those promises, kisses and hugs, everything was fake? Was I some joke to you that you lied about your whole life to me" she asked desperately

"No! Nothing is fake. I really do love you and everything we did together. I'm so sorry sweetheart. I had to lie to protect you like I always did from day one. I couldn't risk anyone of my enemies finding out about you to steal you from me just like my parents" he spoke. Y/n's face turned confused yet again

"Yes, they didn't die just like that. They died because of their mafia enemies. Yeji and I, we witnessed it in front of our eyes. Them being taken away. That's why we both joined this whole mess. To find out who it was and..."

"And k*ll them." Hyunjin spoke looking straight into y/n's eyes this time with his hot siren eyes

"You know who k*lled them? Your father's brother" he spoke leaving y/n stunned for the billionth time today

"Yeji k*lled him a long time ago. Don't get me wrong, I didn't have any intentions to do anything to your dad or his family. However, your dad was angry and we became enemies. He and your brothers, both are mafias under the B.T.S gang. He retired recently and Kim Seokjin became the leader followed by your other brothers"

"What?!" Y/n asked. Her heart broke again because everyone kept betraying, hurting and lying to her.

"I didn't know any of their identities since whenever we fought, we all wore masks. That's why I was ok with your mom marrying your dad...because I didn't know who Mr.Kim and his sons were neither their names. I was so nice and polite to your brothers and we got along well until..."

"I found out their identities. It was like a knife stabbing me across the heart. Because you were theirs. You were in my enemy's house. You couldn't imagine how much I wanted to get you away from them because it was so dangerous completely forgetting that I'm a mafia too and it'd be equally as dangerous"

"who are they to interfere in our lives?? Love, i don't care about them. I hate them now. They are mafias too, and I can't leave you with them. Stay here please, with me, in my arms where you'd be safe. And I'd know you're safe" he spoke

"Hyunjin buy they're my brothers. Even though they hid this whole thing. They still loved and cared for me like brothers do. You can't hate them. Or say that it's dangerous for me to stay there because like you said it'd be equally as dangerous with you because you're also a mafia" y/n said
