we were all waiting for ban's arrival. he was slow, but he surely made it to the fight. i knew he would've ghosted a fight with meliodas.. but i was secretly hoping. he spoke as he walked into meliodas's pov. "sorry to keep you-"
"hey, you! ban!" hawk yelled at ban from my shoulder. "you're the only one late to this party!" he said as ban noticed a bunch of people who showed up to the fight, including myself. i was in the middle beside merlin and ray. they've become awfully protective over me since i started going back to merlin.
"we've been waiting for you, slowpoke." king told ban from his pillow. many people must've wanted to see two seven deadly sins go for each other's throats.
"i just love a good festival!" diane beamed happily.
"damn it captain, just what in the hell is going on here? what's with all these freaking spectators?!" ban yelled at meliodas.
"don't ask me, i don't know." meliodas responded. "i mean, by the time i got here, they were already getting hyped up."
i could hear ban questioning the situation. his eyes laid onto hawk. "is this your doing, master?" he asked hawk. "you listened to my conversation with the captain, huh?"
