"don't be silly my love, there's no need for you to ask for my forgiveness." elaine tells ban as they embrace each other. [ y/n ] is slowly edging to her breaking point. everyone can sense it, and are incredibly confused. her usual brightness is now dimmed, as she watches the scene with meliodas unfold in front of her. she has been holding her brace for awhile now, and bands of sweat are falling down from her forehead.

"thank you." ban stands up and turns to face [ y/n ]. "i'll do everything in my power to help him, so stay strong." he tells her as he pats her head. she nods, not giving him the time of day, as she is fixated on meliodas. ban turns back to the mage, "hey mage. i need a favor." ban says.

"what is it?" the mage asks.

"send me over there." ban orders.

"oh my, you're resisting." melascula grins. "but i happen to be a specialist at manipulating the dead.. their souls. extracting your soul when you're immobilized is simple for me." melascula uses her powers to drive meliodas's soul right out of his mouth. "so meliodas, any last words before i taste your soul?" melascula manages to spit out before ban twists her head around and break's her neck completely. she tries to speak but blood only pours out instead of words.
