We sat on the table , the killer made me sit next to him , all eyes were on me , but  I wasn't scared , they didn't look terrifying , except for the girl of the bedroom , she was giving me deadly glares as she took bites from her plate

" Is that her ? " one of the boys asked the killer , he nodded at him before opening his mouth to say something

" Everyone , this is Eda Pierce , she's an unlucky girl who saw something she shouldn't have seen , and now she's with us and we can't let her go ." He introduced me to them

How the hell did he know my name ? Valerie must've told him

" Eda , this is my mother , Lillian Romano , the lady of the house . " he pointed with his hand to the woman sitting at the head of the table

" Nice to meet you young girl " She said and i gave her a fake smile

" You already met my sister , Valerie." He said again

" This is Andrew , my right hand " i looked at the curly hair guy

" Those are my cousins , Tyler and Theo "

" this is my g...- Celine, Celine Ledger . "

Was he going to say girlfriend? Why didn't he say it ?

" And I'm Chase Romano , the Don of the Romano Mafia . " He said and looked at me , his eyes focused on mine  , i looked away and fake smiled to everyone else

"So , Eda , what do you do for living ? " Lady Lillian asked

" I'm a .....waitress . " I answered, and noticed Celine giggling

I figured there is no point of not telling them , I don't wanna get scolded by the killer in front of them

And honestly i didn't get why would Celine laugh , i mean , she was the slut here

" I see , do you have a family ? " She asked again

" Uhh..mm...no , just me " I answered, looking down

They're the mafia , god knows what they could do to my father if they knew about his existence

"Oh , what about your parents? " She asked ,
" both dead " I answered, i could see the look of pity on her face

" How did you end up being a hopeless waitress ?" Celine spoke , and everyone looked at her , annoyed

If she thought she hit a nerve , she was wrong
" well i had to work to pay for my med school cause unlike you , i don't live on daddy's money " Though it's not entirely true , but the vein in her forehead almost popped out as her entire face reddened , i winked at her before taking a bite from my plate

That's how you hit a nerve

" That's enough ! " Chase finally spoke , glaring at Celine before she could answer me

" You know she should be dead , you shouldn't be leaving witnesses . " She said again

I noticed Chase's jaw clinching as he glared at her again

" We don't kill innocent people Celine , you should know that by now ." Lillian spoke , folding her hands and putting her chin above them

" But , mrs Romano , this is an exception and- ".. she said right before Valerie cut her off

" Why don't you focus on your business and we focus on ours , sounds good ? " Valerie said , which made me happy a bit
