I kissed her deeply as she submitted to me , i slowly broke away the kiss and she stepped back , we gazed at each other confused , stunned , nervous

" when i'm with you , i lose all control over myself , it never happened to me before " i told her and she blushed ; " what are you doing to me Eda?" I asked her as my eyes stayed focused on hers

None of us had the words to explain what just happened, i sighed ; " go to sleep , we'll have to wake up early ; i said before heading to my room

Watching her yell in my face about how i push her away made me a bit angry , if only she knew how much I was holding back with her

I didn't want to get attached to her more cause that would have put her life in danger, more than it was

Therefore i made a decision

He kissed me , and left , did he feel the same ? He was  always confusing me with his actions ,  I couldn't tell

That kiss did mean something i know it did

I walked towards my room and laid on the bed , but I couldn't sleep , how could i ?

I woke up at the voice of Chase calling my name  ; " Eda , wake up " he said couple of times before i finally opened my eyes

I washed my face and mouth and changed my clothes , he had already prepared our bags and put them in the car

The ride was silent , he didn't speak a word since the morning

Nor did i

When we finally arrived to the city , i noticed that Chase was taking unfamiliar road to his house , as if he was going somewhere else

I didn't ask him , just let it be

Suddenly , we pulled over at the last place I thought he would bring me to

My neighbourhood, in front of my own house

I stared at my house that I didn't see in months , my dad was there since his car was parked

I turned to look at Chase , confused ; " what are we doing here ?" I asked , hoping to hear what i hoped for

" you're free to go Eda " he said and my eyes went wide opened at his words , was this for real ? Was he letting me go like i asked him to ?

" you're serious?" I asked again , tears in my eyes , and happiness flowing in my body

He nodded ;" you can report us to the police if you want , not that it will do anything really , but i understand if you did , after everything i put you through " he explained and i shake my head

" I won't " i said and he glanced at me with a soft smile ; " let me help you with the bag " he added as we both got out of the car

The smell of my beautiful neighbourhood hit my nose and i felt relieved , i was finally home

Chase grabbed the bag and handed it to me and i took it ;" so this is it " i said ; " yeah" he replied ;
" it was nice knowing you , Eda pierce "

" it was nice knowing you too , Chase Romano" i said and he smiled ; " go on now " he said again , his smile dropped , as if his eyes were yelling at me don't go

I smiled before turning away and slowly walked towards the door

For some reason , tears filled my eyes , i dropped the bag and ran to him , i hugged him tight and he embraced me with his arms
