Chase and his family took care of the funeral, they arranged the burial ceremony, right now i was at Chase's chamber , getting dressed

I put on a black long dress followed by a black coat , Chase came to the room and looked at me silently , he accompanied me to his car as we both got in , i turned around to see few other cars behind us , his family

He drove away toward the cemetery, when we arrived, we got out of the car , Chase held my hand as we headed to where most people were standing , a lot of them came , my dad 's co- workers , Cassy was also there , she came running at me and pulled me to her chest , hugging me tightly

" I'm so sorry Eda ! I'm so sorry " She said a broken tone , i let go of Chase's hand and hugged her back , trying my best to hold my tears

The rest of Chase's family got out of their cars , all eyes were on them , and i'm sure everyone wondered how my father knew these people

We all stood together, facing my father's coffin , everyone paid their condolences to me as i softly greeted them , the priest said his final words before the men with him closed the coffin and slowly pulled it down to the pit , they started covering it with dirt

And that's when I couldn't hold it back anymore

I felt tears running down my face , i shoved my face into Chase's chest as i tugged on his jacket , he wrapped his hands around me hugging me

After everyone was gone , only Cassy and Chase's family stayed with me , i bent down to my father's grave and put on it his favourite flowers , Lilies

I told Chase i wanted to go back home and he agreed , they all did , they all came with me , Valerie , Theo , Tyler , Andrew and Chase's mother , and of course Cassy who didn't leave my side

I told everyone to act as if they were at their own home , i also asked Cassy to take care of them since it was their first time here , i headed to my father's bedroom , i entered and gazed at the chamber , his smell was still filling the air

I opened his closet and grabbed one of his sweaters , i brought it up to my face as i enjoyed his perfume once again , without realising , tears filled my eyes , i fell on the floor tugging on the sweater with anger and grief

I miss him already

Suddenly , i heard loud car sounds from the Window , i overlooked to see two Range Rovers parking outside my house , i narrowed my eyes cause who would come at this hour ?

I cleaned my face and adjusted myself before going down , the door was already opened and new faces showed up , at first i thought they were my father's co- workers again , but they weren't

My eyes landed on an old woman , a middle aged guy and a young man , i also spotted men wearing black standing outside the house

I looked up at Chase and his family who looked at these people with a frown , as if they knew them

" you must be Eda " the woman suddenly spoke and i turned my eyes on her again ; " I'm sorry who are you ? " i asked before Chase stepped forward in front of me , blocking my view from the three people

" you need to leave " Chase said , and i got confused, did he know these people?

" don't forget yourself Romano , i can have you and your family all dead right now " the man also spoke , dead ? Are they also from the mafia ?

I just remembered that Cassy was also present with us and she must've heard the word " dead"

Shit

" I'm sorry what's going on in here ?" I asked with an angry tone , people were arguing in my house and I didn't know a thing

" Eda , let us sit first " the woman kindly said , i looked between her and Chase who was slowly shaking his head , what's gotten into him ?

I looked away and nodded at her , i heard Chase sighing as we all went to the living room , taking our places on the couches

" Cassy , would you mind preparing tea for the guests ?" Chase 's mother told Cassy and she agreed , she must've done that cause she didn't want to get exposed in front of her

" I'll help " Valerie suddenly spoke as she headed to the kitchen with Cassy , giving all of us glances before disappearing, i noticed Andrew , Theo and Tyler , each of them standing in a corner , in a ready position, as if they were expecting an attack

The two guys that came with the old lady watched them carefully with evil eyes , i was really getting confused at their situation , Chase took a seat next to me holding my hand

I watched as the woman gazed at my father's pictures hanging on the wall , she even teared up making me wonder, who was she ?

" he really changed through these years " she spoke ; " you look nothing like him " she said and i softly smiled at her , i still had no energy to match up with anyone at this moment

I just lost my father and i must deal with these suspicions people

" you look like your mother , from what I remember " she said and i narrowed my eyes at her , this woman right here teared up about my father , talk about my mother as if she was close to them

" i still don't know who you are " i asked as i looked at her and at the two guys with her , " Eda baby , i think you need to rest-" Chase spoke before he was interrupted by the lady again

" can't you recognise your own grandmother ?" She said with a brief smile , i went in shock and disbelief , my dad told me his parents were dead and he had no one , now this woman showed up after his funeral , pretending to be my grandmother ? His mother !?

I didn't know what to believe really
