I hit the road after I received the location from Luca , the place was not far from the city , instead it was in the centre, last place we would ever think about

That was the reason why we couldn't find him

After following the GPS i found myself in what it looked like to be a cargo port and trucks , the place was empty which lead me to think it was a trap in the first place

Once i parked the car , i spotted five men showing up and holding their guns to me ;
" hands in the air" one of them shouted . I did as he said and raised both of my hands

He nodded at one of his men , he walked towards me and stripped me out of all of my weapons, he pushed me with the tip of his gun as we all walked to one of the warehouses

Once we entered , the place was empty and looked like it was abandoned , i found myself surrounded by the same five men from earlier , i could only guess that Luca's family had abandoned him and decided to not support him anymore due to his many failures

I stood in my place waiting for any action while those men were pointing their guns at me , at that moment , i heard footsteps coming towards us , I turned around only to see Luca walking slowly to me , holding in his hand a bottle of wine

He was a mess , dirty hair , red eyes with black spots and a dizzy walk , his men seemed to be disgusted with him , I guessed that the only reason they were still there was probably cause Luca told them that he would be paying them extra

" look who it is , Chase Romano !" He said proudly, pointing his fingers at me ; " nice to have you here by the way" he added and i sighed rolling my eyes ; " where is Eda , Luca?" I asked
" patience , amigo , patience, let's have a talk first" he demanded and i clenched my jaw

" let's get this over with Luca , i'm not here to play games " I growled and he chuckled, eying his men ; " but i am " he said , his tone changed to a serious one , with his eyes glaring at me ; " my life became like a joke , my family turned its back on me because of you " he stated

"All my life, I've been trying to tear you and your people down , but i never succeed , why is that ?" He asked ; i shook my shoulders " I don't know , perhaps you should try harder " i stared right into his blurry eyes ; " but now i have found your weakness " he chuckled again and i gritted my teeth as i felt my blood boiling again

" i never thought that Chase Romano's weakness would be a fragile simple girl " he said , drinking from the bottle ; " i never took you for a loving soft type of person" he added right before he turned to his men and waved his hand at them . Two of them nodded as they walked away

" you know Bianca managed to turn the entire family against me , that's why I'm only left with five men " he explained; " maybe your sister was right " i mocked him and he glared again ; " but I figured, if I brought them your head , they will believe in me again , and then they will give me the leadership " he said proudly and sure of his words

I stood there watching him as he swung in his place like a maniac waiting for the two men to return , i guessed that they went to bring Eda and Cassy , that was the only explanation possible

It was a matter of time before things got messy

I didn't know how much time had passed since we were locked in here , but we were getting hungry and thirsty , Cassy was panicking and heavily breathing  . I tried to calm her by telling her that everything would be fine but she wouldn't listen to me

Suddenly , the door opened revealing two men , I recognised one of them because he was the same guy who held Cassy and made her faint in the alley , she squealed once her eyes landed on him , he walked over to her and proceeded to release her from her restraints

" wait , what are you doing stay away from her !" I practically shouted at him but he ignored me , the other guy walked to me and released me too , he grabbed my wrists behind my back as he held his gun to my head , i looked over to see the same thing was being done to Cassy

" where are you taking us ?" I hesitantly asked as they both dragged us ; " Cassy sweetie calm down I'm here " i tried comforting her since she was crying and freaking out

They kept on dragging us until we found ourselves in what it looked like to be a warehouse , i looked forward only to see Luca and couple of his men with him , with a man back facing me so I couldn't see his face at first

" There she is " Luca announced as he walked towards us , the other man turned around and my heart beat so fast and i felt relieved when i saw his face , Chase , without hesitation my lips had already curved into a soft smile ; " Chase" i hissed but he was able to hear me

He smiled back at me and nodded his head , meaning that everything was going to be alright.
Luca stood between me and Cassy, he told the two guys to leave while he put his hands on our shoulders . I noticed Chase's jaw tightening as he stepped closer , only for the others to draw their guns at him even closer

" now now Chase , just like we agreed on the phone " Luca spoke and i got confused , I didn't know what they spoke about on the phone , but I figured it was nothing good for us ; " get on your knees , and beg me to let them go" Luca said and i looked over at Chase surprised

In that moment i was sure that Luca was a sick man

Chase glanced at me before walking towards us slowly , once he was about five feet apart from us , he got down on his knees ; " Chase don't " i protested only to feel a pressure on my shoulder by Luca ; " Quiet , now beg , Romano "

" Luca , please don't do this " Chase nibbled under his breath. Luca had demanded that he repeats that and he did . I couldn't help but to feel my eyes tearing up and my heart aching , it hurt me to see Chase in that state , on his knees and begging his biggest enemy , all because of me

" oh well , we move to our next step" Luca said as he grabbed a gun from his waistband , my eyes widened and I freaked out , he pointed his gun down at Chase ; " any last words Romano ?" He asked , Chase looked up at him and smirked ; " now" he whispered right before the gate of the warehouse fell open and gunshots were heard

I spotted Chase's people coming in and shooting Luca 's men and they all started to fall dead , I noticed Luca getting distracted by them but still pointing his gun at Chase , I quickly hit his face with my forehead and pushed him away , i held Cassy 's hand and ran to Chase , he hugged me in his arms as he shoved his face in the nape of my neck

Meanwhile Tyler came over and took Cassy out of of there ; " i missed you " i sighed before we pulled away and gazed at each other ; " are you hurt ?" He asked as his hand checked my neck and his eyes examined my body , I held his hand and shook my head with a smile ; " EDA WATCH OUT " i heard Valerie yelling from behind  , we both turned to look at her but suddenly , we heard a single gunshot ,  then i realised that i was shot near my waist

I yelped before falling in Chase's arms , i put my hand on my waist and so did Chase , as blood started to come out , i shakily panted ; " Eda ! Stay with me" Chase held my face in his hand as he called out for me with a worried face , i was too dizzy to talk back

In that moment , two other shots went on , Andrew had already shot Luca , one in his chest and the other in his thigh which made him fall to the ground and whine in pain ; " Eda , baby , you're okay just don't close your eyes " Chase said right before i went numb again , and that was the last thing I remember of that night

The day after was no better
