(Y/N) was the first to wake up, hesitant to open his eyes as he wanted to go back to sleep. However, Mina being snuggled up to his left side distracted him from sleeping any longer. All he could do was smile at the girl who was peacefully snoozing away with her arms sprawled across his chest. Without any movements that could wake her up, (Y/N) grabbed his phone that was placed on the nightstand and checked it.
There were two unread text notifications from Sunmi, sent 19 minutes ago.
"Hey! This is on a bit of short notice, but would you be okay with starting practice later today? I was able to clear up my schedule, so may as well get it done now if you'd be down for it!" read the text.
'I suppose I don't have anything planned today..' he thought, before sending a reply.
"Sure, I have to do a few things first but I'll definitely be free by this afternoon!"
He sighed, placing his phone back down on the nightstand. MAMA was coming up somewhat soon, so getting the practice done sooner rather than later sounded great. Perhaps to get more time to work on his side projects, including the ones with the girls.
Wanting to freshen up and make breakfast, he decided to try his best to gently sit up without waking up Mina. He carefully slid out from under her arms, and successfully got up. He double checked to see if he had disturbed her, and thankfully she was still sound asleep.
He carefully opened the door, basically tiptoeing his way out and shutting the door behind him. As he was about to fully shut it, a loud THUMP was heard behind him, startling him into closing the door a little louder than he would've liked.
"Oww.." Sana whined, rubbing her knees.
"Sana? Are you alright?" (Y/N) asked in a soft worried tone, helping her up.
"Yeah, sorry.. I tripped on my own foot." She pouted, making him slightly chuckle.
"Be more careful silly. Just let me know if you need some ice or something, I'll grab it for you." He said.
"Thanks (Y/N), I think I'll be okay though." She responds, with a wide smile. "What are you doing up though?"
"I was about to make some breakfast, I just got informed of something I need to attend later." He replies.
"Ooh, what is it? Can I know?" She excitedly asks, with her eyes basically lighting up.
"Can't say, sorry Sana. I promise you'll know in due time though." He says. Sana sighs, knowing she won't be able to get the info out of him. "But, If you would like to, I would love to have your assistance in making breakfast for everyone."
Her eyes light up once more, "Of course! Though I'm not sure if I'll be much help.."
"Don't worry, it's nothing too complicated. We'll do it together." He says, attempting to encourage her. It works, as she once again excitedly agrees.
"Okay!"
Meanwhile, on the other side of the door. The penguin began to wake up after hearing the semi loud door shut. She looked up, scanning the bed for (Y/N), but he was nowhere to be seen. She figured the loud door shut was him, probably not on purpose, knowing she did the same last night.
As she sat up, she heard a notification come from a phone, and by instinct picked it up thinking it was hers. She read the notification,
"Alright love, I'll see you later then!~"
For a minute, Mina was confused. Why was her sunbaenim texting her? She turned around to the other side of the bed, spotting another phone, and that's when it hit her.
