Chapter 6

Draco took it easy the next few days. His body hurt like hell be he didn't want to frighten Teddy.

A part of Draco felt bad, he could tell Teddy was shaken and now almost always never leaving his side.

Draco sat in his potions room making several potions as Teddy slept in his lap his head leaning against Draco's chest.

Draco wasn't sure why but he assumed Teddy wasn't sleeping well either. Every night for the past 3 days Teddy had slept in Draco's bed.

Draco sighed stirring the cauldron as a house elf appeared.

"Sorry Master Draco. Ms Granger says there there's a visitor here for you."

Draco nodded before rising with a groan carrying Teddy out assuming it was either Blaise or Pomfrey.

Draco walked down a long hallway as Teddy stirred.

"Where are we going?" Teddy asked rubbing his eye, his hair completely blonde now.

"I have a visitor here." Draco stated setting him down. "I'm going to have to leave you with Hermione okay? I'll be back in 10 minutes tops yeah?"

Almost immediately Teddy attached to Draco's leg.

"No...please don't go! What if you come back like last time Cousin Draco! W-what if you don't come back..." Teddy asked quietly.

Draco was quiet seeing tears appears. Draco knelt immediately regretting it holding his side.

"Hey hey hey buddy, I'm not going anywhere okay? Deep breaths for me...come here" Draco said pulling him close.

Draco's heart hurt feeling Teddy grip his shirt.

Draco rose.

"Our visitor will just have to see both of us." Draco stated pushing the door open. He immediately paused seeing no one other than the judge.

"Mr. Malfoy..." Judge Tom stated rising before seeing Teddy. "And Mr. Lupin." Tim paused. "I'm here to discuss your missed court date...."

Draco cursed silently.

"I apologize for that. Teddy here was stick amongst other things. It slipped my mind." Draco stated setting Teddy down just as there was a loud bang.

Draco cursed.

"Give me a few minutes." Draco stated turning walking out.

Teddy watched Draco before looking at Tim tilted his tilting his head.

"Are you going to take me away from Cousin Dray?" Teddy asked.

Tim looked surprised.

"I'm just here to make sure everything is okay since he missed a very important date." Tim stated. "I'm here to make sure everything's okay."

Teddy tilted his head

"Cousin Dray says if someone doesn't answer a question directly then they're lying...I don't wanna go back... they hurt cousin Dray. I like it here. Cousin Dray let's me stay with him and even takes care of me when he has ouchies." Teddy stated.

Tim rose an eyebrow.

"Ouchies?" Tom asked.

Teddy nodded.

"Mmhm! He came home hurt a few days ago. He's getting better but he moves a little slower but it's okay! "

Tim patted the cushion beside him.

"I can assure you I want you and Draco safe and not hurt buddy." Tim stated

Teddy nodded walking over sitting.
