"Goodbye mum" I yell while waving towards the entrance of the airport. *I wonder what the uk is going to be like* I drag my large suitcase and my backpack to my gate and wait patiently for the flight attendants to call to board the plane. Eventually everyone boards the plane and I find out I have a middle seat. *At least no one is sitting next to me*
*time skip to the plane landing*
"Welcome to Brighton, uk" After the plane lands I stand up and get my bag and suitcase and wonder over to the entrance to get an Uber. "Hello are you Katie?" The Uber driver asks. "Yep hello!" I reply politely. We make small talk until we approach a huge university. "WOW!" I say in awe. "Thank you" "No worries". I walk into the office and I go up to the receptionist "hello my name is Katie Bell and I have an on campus dorm" I say and smile "Ahhh yes! You have it for 2 months I see" she smiles. I start to panic because I was supposed to have it for a whole year so I can finish my degree. "Are you certain mrs?" "That's what the computer says sweetheart" "okay thank you" she gives me my key and luckily I have my own dorm, so I don't have to share. I decided that the first items I need to put up is my pride flags (Demi girl and Lesbian). After about an hour I am already finished decorating and since it's only 4:30 pm I decide to explore bright because it's in a new country after all. I put my converse shoes on and a simple outfit.
