Meredith woke up and looked at the clock. It was two PM and she had slept for eight hours straight. She couldn't remember the last time that had happened. She got out of bed and stretched a little. She got dressed and went downstairs. She saw that someone had cleaned up the kitchen and thrown out the food that was out earlier. The house was still a disaster and they probably thought she would clean it up. She was still pissed and knew if she stayed home, she wouldn't be able to not clean. It was nasty. She read the chalkboard. It said Derek 0800-1700/Mark 0800-1700/Meredith-sleeping beauty. She grabbed the eraser and angrily scrubbed it clean. Screw them she thought. She didn't care where they were or when they came home. Her stomach rumbled and she knew she had to get some food. She walked past the living and dining room and averted her eyes. Avoidance was her friend today. She also didn't want to be home when they got back.

She went to a drive thru and ate on the way to the ferry. She drove on and it left shortly afterwards. She got some coffee and went on deck. It was quiet, as it was too early for the commuters to be onboard. The water calmed her and she felt a little bit better as the wind blew her hair and the fresh air invigorated her.

Derek and Mark were walking down the hall on the way to the pit.

"We have to get out of here as soon as possible and get home and clean up. I am going to the grocery store after work and I will meet you there. Tomorrow is garbage day, so get everything out to the curb."

Mark sighed and asked Derek, "Do you have to talk so loud? My head is still killing me. Maybe Mer will clean up."

Derek said, "You are crazy if you think Meredith is going to touch anything! You didn't talk to her. I did. She is not a happy camper. She is disappointed in us. I could see it in her eyes. And there is a reason you are still hung over. You drank too much."

Mark nodded and asked, "You don't think she will make us move do you?"

"She is pissed and I can't blame her. The house is trashed."

"Well if you had let some of the over flow go upstairs, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. I don't know why you had to lock our bedrooms?"

Derek stopped right outside of the pit and said, "Mark; for God's sake. People wanted to have sex upstairs. Meredith would have really freaked out if a parade of people had been in her room, in her bed!"

"Yeah. You are right. Who would have thought all those people would show up? So tell me details already. What was Addie like in the sack? Did she wrap those long legs around you? Is she a moaner?"

Derek winced in pain as Mark was asking questions and held up his hand as if to say, shut up. They walked into the pit and looked for DePalma who had paged them.

"We are going to have to make it up to Meredith and kiss her ass if we want to stay." Said Derek.

Mark smiled a sexy smirk and said, "I can do that. I can kiss Mer's ass."

"You are a prick Mark and quit thinking about Meredith's ass!"

Mark laughed as Derek walked over to DePalma. He was feeling a little better.

Meredith had been riding the ferry for hours and was on her third cup of coffee. She was sitting down on a bench on the deck when her phone rang. She checked the caller ID and picked up because it was Cris. She wasn't taking calls from Derek or Mark. She felt like kicking them out.

"Hi Cris."

"Hi Mer. I just have a second. We have been swamped all day. I just wanted to tell you I heard about your patient. The little girl. I am sorry. Nurse Debbie told me how you guys worked on her your entire shift."
