~Chapter 33~

(1st person perspective)

I was sat in our room, fidgeting with my nails as I waited for Azeru to get back. As I waited I looked over at the large book shelf.

'What if there's any books on there that I might like?' I thought to myself. I got up and walked over, bringing a chair with me.

I prepped it up against the wall as I stood on the old wooden chair, as my hands explored the books.

There was quite a bit of dust, so I held my breath as I kept searching for the right book, until I got to the history section. 'Ooooo now I might find something here..' I thought.

I reached over to a book about Vampire's, and took it. As I pulled it out, some dust blew in my face, causing me to sneeze.

"Ahahhhh, CHOO!-" I stumbled backwards and fell off the chair, into a pair of arms.

My head was in my arms and I braced for impact, but I looked up to see Azeru looking down at me.

"Are you alright Y/n?..." he asked me in, quite a calm tone. I stood up.

"Yes I'm fine, but, are you?.. Your eyes are slightly glowing Azeru.." he glanced at me with worry and tiredness, as he leaned his head down on my shoulder.

"No no I'm okay darling, I just.....Need.."

"Blood?" I cut him off. He shuddered as I asked him that. Sighed as I pulled my shirt collar to the side.

"It's okay, you can drink some. If you ever need blood just tell me." I reassured him. His eyes lit up as he glanced as my neck.

"Thank you.."

He slowly bit into my neck and started drinking. It didn't hurt at all now, it did kind of feel uncomfortable though, but at least not a painful uncomfortableness.

After about a minute, he let go and cleaned my wound with a cloth from his pocket. He looked at me and caressed my cheek.

"I don't know what i'd do without you.." he told me. It kind of melted my heart but I stayed focused.

I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him softly. Azeru leaned into me and hugged me back.

"It's my job to be the comforting one y'know Y/n." He joked, I only rebelled.

"Well now it's my turn, you big softy."

I could feel him melt into me as I said that, as a few chuckles escaped his mouth. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me back.

"Can we cuddle on the bed for a bit?" I asked him, he simply nodded.

He picked me up and placed me on my back as he lay next to me, suddenly pulling me onto his chest. I relaxed into him.

He stroked my hair as another thank you. I sighed peacefully. I really enjoy our moments like this.

Azeru pulled the covers over us as he stroked my back and I slowly closed my eyes.
