Gus was surprised to see Matt at his door. "Hey Matty, what brings you here?" Matt looked down. "I'm having family issues... Mind if I stay the night?" Matt said nervously. Gus blushed but nodded. "My dad won't mind."
They went up to Gus' room. Matt explained everything that was going on at his house. Gus was a good listener and comforted Matt when he needed it. Matt cried into Gus' shoulder as Gus comforted him. "Shhhh it's going to be ok Matty..." He said softly, holding Matt close.
Matt clung onto Gus, refusing to let go of him. Gus held the smaller boy on his lap, not really minding. "You tired?" Gus asked softly. Matt nodded. Gus smiled and leaned back on his bed, holding Matt on his chest. Both their faces where red, but neither of them cared. Matt nuzzled into Gus' chest, hugging him tightly. Gus smiled at how clingy and cuddly he was being.
"Goodnight Matty." Gus whispered, his face in Matt's hair. "N-Night Gus..." Matt mumbled, doing off. The rest of the night was quiet. Matt never felt safer and more loved than he did with Gus that night.
