Lost Innocence

CHAPTER 24

 After Sean's confession Darcel was left speechless he reach out for Sean's face to wipe his tears away, it was also breaking his heart knowing how much the person he loved was hurting 'I was drowning in my own fears and hesitation that I failed to see how much my love is hurting... Darcel your such a jerk' he thought

"I'm sorry" was all Darcel can say before he pulled Sean down and hugged him as he comfort him

"I'm sorry" he again whispered as he kissed Sean's temple at this moment Darcel badly wanted to give himself a beating for causing this they then fell asleep in that position

Morning came and Darcel was first to wake up since he was used to waking up early and they were still in that position he felt his back a little numb since Sean was heavy, he wanted to move Sean but he was afraid the later will be disturbed and not to forget Sean was hugging him very tightly lucky for Darcel he didn't wait too long until Sean wake up

Sean who was still half asleep nearly got heart attack when the first thing he saw was the handsome face of Darcel he then realize what happened the previous night

"I'm sorry" he uttered as he moved down to Darcel's side

"are you alright?" Sean worriedly asked

"my back feels a little numb but yes I am" Darcel smiled at him

"you should've waken me up" Sean

"how can I wake you up when you look so cute when you're asleep" Darcel admitted truthfully making Sean's heart jump and blush a little making Darcel chuckle at his cuteness

"cute" he commented making Sean blush harder

"are you flirting with me now Mr. Darcel?" Sean teased when he finally recovered

"why? you don't want?" Darcel retorted letting all his worries, fear and hesitation all go as he just finally let his heart decide

Sean shake his head and look at Darcel straight in the eye

"why?" Sean ask with a serious tone

"what why?" Darcel stared back

"why are you suddenly flirting with me?" it's not that Sean didn't like nor felt happy with Darcel's flirting but he just want to confirm that Darcel is doing this because he felt something for him not just out of pity

This time Darcel is the one who climb on top of Sean and look at him in the eye

"Sean I'm a criminal, I killed countless of people whether they are woman or man whether they are elderly... my hands is full of blood... will you still accept me" Darcel said seriously but deep inside him he was feeling very nervous, he was feeling so much fear that after this conversation he will finally loose the person he loved

"what are you talking about?" Sean manage to not stutter as he was quiet taken aback at Darcel's words

'is he scaring me off now?' he questioned himself but the look in Darcel's eyes, he can clearly see sincerity, fear and pain in them which is making him more nervous

"I'm in a mafia Sean" Darcel finally said after hesitating Sean's hearing malfunction as well as every cell in his body hearing Darcel's revelation

"this is why we can't be together... we are living in a completely different world Sean and my world is not for you" he added and observe Sean's reaction but all he can see was shock, no fear, no disgust, just shock
