Lost Innocence

CHAPTER 28

 Stanley and Lance went to different stalls happily looking here and there, they also went to the movies and even spent almost two hours at the arcade and now as both are tired they are sitting in the park eating ice cream

"that was fun" Lance said

"I'm glad you enjoy it" Stanley smiled as he wiped the ice cream in the side lip of Lance with his handkerchief

"thanks" Lance smiled

"for what?" Stanley ask as he continued eating his ice cream while watching the sky

"for today" Lance replied and Stanley just nodded

"Stanley" Lance suddenly called out with a serious voice

"what?" Stanley answered finishing his ice cream

"do you love someone?" Lance ask out of nowhere making Stanley's heart beat race abnormally

"huh?" he ask stupefied

"I mean romantically, are you in love right now?" Lance ask looking away

"why do you ask?" Stanley ask looking at Lance

"ju-just curious" Lance answered

"I see... yes I am" Stanley replied observing Lance expression

"I see" Lance smiled at Stanley though he felt his heart hurting for unknown reason

"won't you ask me who is that person I'm in love with?" Stanley ask

"just introduce her to me when you got her" Lance smiled yet his tears wanted to come out

"Lance--"

"I need to go to the bathroom wait for me here then let's go home it's getting dark" Lance rushed out of there before his tears can escape his eyes

'why does it hurt thinking he was in love with someone? Are you crazy Lance Maxwell? Why are you crying? He was your best friend' he forced himself to stop crying as he look at himself in the mirror

"what's wrong with you?" he questioned himself before he splashed it with water and returned to Stanley

Stanley after Lance run off to the bathroom sat there dejected 'I am in love with someone and that someone is you but why can't you feel nor see it?' he thought sadly as he tried his best not to cry there. After Lance came back they went back and both went straight to their room ignoring their friends who got curious on what happened to the two

"now what is wrong with those kiddos?" Liam said

"I'll go check on Stanley you go check on Lance" Liam said dragging Daeven with him

"you said you will go why am I being drag here" Daeven ask but was ignored by Liam while Silas and Shawn went to Lance's room

At Stanley's room the two went in to see the younger lying in his bed face down the pillow and the sound of sniffing can be heard. Liam quietly sat in the bed and caress his head as Daeven also silently sat in the opposite side when Stanley finally calmed down he finally faced them after wiping his tears

Liam look at him softly and help him wipe his face

"feeling better?" he ask in a soft voice and Stanley nodded
