Barry sat up in bed, Oliver was gone.

Barry used his super speed to put on his clothes before running down to the kitchen of the Queen mansion.

Oliver left a small note that said:

Out for groceries...

And a couple bad guys.

~Ollie

Barry laughed, of course Oliver ran out to get the hood on for a bit.

He decided to follow suit, and went to STAR Labs to look for DeVoe.

Once he sped in, he saw today the cortex wasn't empty as Cisco and Caitlin stood watching the monitors.

"Hi, I just need to check for DeVoe, any pings?" Barry asked.

"No, just a few robberies. Most were stopped by the police, but me and Frost took care of two." Cisco said.

"Okay, just call me if you get anything." Barry said before racing out of the cortex.

"Why is he so distant lately?" Cisco asked Caitlin.

"I don't know, maybe you should ask him." Caitlin replied.

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense." Cisco muttered before walking away.

--------

Not one ping all day.

Maybe he's taking the holidays off? Sebastian inputted.

"No, Seb... He's been waiting too long for that." Barry replied.

Sebastian just scoffed, and went quiet.

Barry ran to Jitters for a coffee.

"One Flash please." Barry asked the lady over the counter before sitting down.

A few minutes later she called him up for his coffee.

He thanked her and sat back down.

Sipping on the coffee, Barry heard his phone ring.

"Hi Joe. What's up?" Barry asked.

"Okay, I'll be there." Barry replied to Joe's invite.

Christmas party at the West house.

Invite Ollie. Sebastian mentioned.

Barry scrolled through his contacts before clicking on Oliver's.

Barry invited his boyfriend, then ran to the Queen Mansion to get him.

"Ollie! Get ready so we can go!" Barry called, running upstairs to Oliver's room.

Barry walked in on Oliver pulling off his shirt, revealing the many scars he had collected over the years.

"I'm almost ready babe." Oliver said, as Barry slid his hands over the archer's shoulders.

"I love you..." Barry whispered.

"I love you too." Oliver replied, then grabbed a shirt off it's hanger.

A white button-up shirt, and business slacks were his usual go to.

But this time he also grabbed a blazer, probably to impress his boyfriend's father.

"Dressing to impress?" Barry teased.

"Yeah, I want to make a good impression. I've only met Joe once, and me now being your boyfriend changes things." Oliver explained.

Barry smiled and kissed the archer.

"We better go, don't want to be late. Wouldn't help that second impression." Barry teased Oliver.
