The next day, Steve and Dustin were on spy duty. They needed to locate the evil Russians to try to stop them or get an idea what they were doing in Hawkins in the first place. I was helping Robin translate the rest of the Russian message. Robin still had to run the store so I began translating by myself until she could join again. We made two copies of the tape so we could both listen at the same time.

"Hey, did you get anything?" She asked joining me in the back.

"I think the next sentence is about how China is a nice place to visit or something." I said and she nodded impressed.

"Yeah, I got that too. We make a great team." She said and I nodded smiling.

"Hell yeah we do. How do you think the boys are making out?" I asked wondering if they were going to find anything.

"I have no clue. Dustin seems capable, but Steve doesn't really ever know what he's doing." She shrugged.

"Yeah, Steve is better at improvising." I agreed. "He does add some good hair to the team." I joked and she chuckled.

"I have no idea what you see in him. I know what he sees in you. You're great. He's just..." She started and I scrunched my face in confusion.

"I don't know how many times I have to say this, but we're just friends." I said getting more and more frustrated that we keep getting asked if we were dating.

"Yeah, you guys should tell your faces that when you're near each other. The longing looks and the laughing at each others jokes. It's like two lovesick puppies." Robin said mocking us and making puppy dog eyes.

"Whatever." I said rolling my eyes and continuing to translate. "You know, if you like him, you should go for it." I suggested and she gagged.

"That's disgusting. Steve is definitely not my type." She said still gagging at the idea.

"Exactly. That's how I feel." I said trying to prove a point.

"I don't know what's worse. That you're lying to me or yourself." She said and I grew more annoyed and threw a banana at her. "Woah, what was that for?" She asked confused.

"Stop making those comments. Let's just focus on the evil Russians and then you can tease me about Steve." I said arming myself with another banana.

"Fine. I'm done." She said grabbing a seat and helping me continue to translate.

"The week is long. The silver cat feeds when blue meets yellow in the west. A trip to China sounds nice if you tread lightly. Tread lightly?" Robin was muttering to herself as she looked through the translation book. Then there was a knock at the door.

"Don't look at me. I don't work here." I shrugged not wanting to get up. She scoffed and came to get the door.

"Delivery for you." The delivery guy said.

"Thank you." Robin said signing for the package.

"Have a nice day." He said.

"Yeah, you too." She replied and looked after him muttering something. "Silver cat. Silver cat." I heard.

"Holy shit." I said realizing what she was talking about.

"You're not gonna believe who Dustin thought was a Russian." Steve said entering Scoops Ahoy. They began arguing back and forth while Robin and I ran to the food court.

"A trip to China sounds nice. A trip to China sounds nice. A trip to China sounds nice. A trip to China sounds nice. A trip to China sounds nice." We were repeating and then I spotted the Chinese restaurant.
