Chapter 5

Your POV

I entered the practice room quietly and sat on the floor beside Karina, who was near the door. I just smiled at her whereas she just gave me a small smile with a worried expression on her face. I ignored her worried expression and turned to the dance teacher that was talking. However, my thoughts were somewhere completely else.

Is Minjeong right?

Do I really have to do that first?

So many other questions were swarming around in my mind, as I tried to wrap my mind around the fact that Ryujin might do what she did in the past all over again. I wondered if there was some way to stop her, because I didn't want to do something first myself or even let her do it. I wanted everything to be kept a secret from the public.

Karina poked my arm bringing me back to the real world and away from my thoughts. I looked over at her and she smiled slightly at me.

"Hey, you okay?"

"Yeah, I am." Definitely not fine. I didn't say it all to her, because I didn't want to worry her any further. So I just offered her my best smile as she returned it.

"Okay, you can talk to me about anything Y/N. I know we just became friends, but I'll still be here for you."

I genuinely felt happy hearing that so instead of replying, I just gave her a big hug. Karina chuckled and hugged me back before she explained what the dance teacher had been talking about. I didn't realize till now that the dance teacher had stopped talking and everyone were getting ready to dance.

"Alright, so after she told us all that, she also mentioned that we will be learning a choreography which she made on modern dance. So just get ready now before she starts teaching it to everyone."

And I did exactly that. After the dance lesson, I was sweating a lot. I should perhaps start working out more, because this was harder than I assumed. I used to work out but over the summer I sort of let go to enjoy my summer away from hell and enjoy my time with family before moving.

I didn't see Ryujin or her friends after the lesson, which I was happy about. I exchanged goodbyes with Karina at the exit of the building because I still had to wait a few minutes for Minjeong. I stood by the door of the building, waiting for Minjeong when I heard a familiar voice.

"Y/N?"

"Oh, hey Heejin!" It was the waitress from the coffee shop. After Minjeong left, I stayed for a while and talked to Heejin who got off work an hour after. I invited her out after her shift which she agreed to, so I just waited for her. But one thing led to another and I ended up in her apartment where we spent the night together.

"I didn't know you studied here." Heejin stood in front of me with a friendly smile which I couldn't help but return.

After we spent the night together, we both just agreed on it being a one time thing. I told her beforehand that I was not looking for anything serious, to which she was fine with. At first I wasn't trying to get her in bed, I just wanted to spend time with her because she seemed nice and cute. But then she started flirting with me, so I flirted back and then one thing led to another and we couldn't help ourselves.

"Well we didn't exactly get a lot of talking through," I chuckled to which she did the same and laid her hand on my arm.

"That's true." After the laughter died down, she continued talking. "So what do you study?"

Heejin and I talked for a while and got to know each other more. I found out that she is an art major in the same university and that we both grew up in the same city but she studied in another high school than me. I got to know some more about her, before we were interrupted.

"There you are Heejin, I've been look-- What the hell is this?"

I know that voice anywhere. There she was yet again, ruining a conversation I was having with someone and even twice on the same day. I actually thought she had gone home by now.

"Ryujin, so nice to see you." I said with a fake smile plastered on my face that anyone could recognize was fake and also with a roll of my eyes.

"Of course it is nice to see me, but it is definitely not nice to see you." Ryujin rolled her eyes back at me whereas Heejin looked between the two of us in confusion.

"Okay, what is going on here?" Heejin asked while Ryujin pulled her arm so she was standing between Heejin and I and facing me.

"You don't want to get close to that one, Heejin."

"Ryujin, what the hell are you talking about. Y/N is being nice, and we were having a conversation." Heejin took Ryujin's hand off her arm and stood between Ryujin and I now while facing Ryujin. I gave a pointed look to Ryujin over Heejin's shoulder just to annoy her even more.

"Do you even know everything about her, Heejin?" Ryujin asked with a disgusted look on her face, while looking at me over Heejin's shoulder. I knew exactly what Ryujin was hinting at, and I couldn't help the smirk that formed on my face. Heejin knew exactly of what Ryujin was referring to, because of what happened between her and myself. Besides, I got consent before we did anything together and I told her about what made me different from other girls to which she just responded with a kiss that led to everything else that happened that night.

Heejin looked away from Ryujin's eyes when she saw that Ryujin's expression changed from disgusted to anger, because of the smirk on my face. She looked at me before stepping back and standing beside me now. "Oh yeah I do, and what's so bad about that?"

I could see on Ryujin's face how much Heejin's answer bothered her. Just like in the past when I had slept with another of her friends. She was pissed to say the least, but that is a story for another time. By now Ryujin's face was a bit red from anger, so instead of answering she grabbed Heejin's hand and pulled her towards herself, of course without hurting her friend.

"Just forget it, and you!" Ryujin turned to me now and I pointed at myself with a confused face, of course it being just an act. "Stay away from her."

Before I could retort with anything back, the two of them walked out of my sight with Heejin being pulled by Ryujin and yelling out an, "bye Y/N!"
