"Woah slow down," I said loudly over the music to Yeji as she dragged me away from the living room. She stopped in the hallway where we could hear each other better without yelling. She still held my hand with one hand while she used the other hand to run through her hair. "Are you okay?"

"No, it's just Ryujin that annoys me too nuch these days. I thought we put the past behind us. We even talked about that after finishing high school, that we would never do everything we did ever again, but look at her now."

"Hey hey, it's okay." I said as I grabbed onto both her hands while she huffed and tried to turn away. I held her back in place and moved my head to make eye contact with her until she eventually let me and I continued what I was saying.

"You have got to learn to just ignore her sometimes, like I do - well like what I try to do. You two obviously need to talk things out but that can wait until you're ready to do that. But for tonight, I want you to just ignore her and pretend she isn't there."

"I honestly don't know how you do it..." Yeji mumbled as she let her gaze fall to the floor.

"Be this awesome? Well it's not the eas-"

"No, you idiot." Yeji interrupted as she laughed out loud and let go of one of my hands to hit my shoulder causing me to laugh as well.

"I know what you meant, but it's the best thing to do instead of starting something up again with her and recreating the past."

"You basically are recreating the past by being with me." Yeji stated as she looked at me with a pointed look while still holding onto one of my hands.

"This is different. And besides that was someone else and not you so it's not the exact same."

"Different my ass. And we all know it was Lia."

"It was different 'cause Ryujin caught us in the act and who says you and I will do the same?" I smirked at her as I leaned closer, thinking I had her when in reality I was the one falling into a trap.

"We will be doing the same but in different ways and this time you won't get caught by Ryujin." Yeji gave me a sultry look as she leaned in even closer to me while telling me the differences between the past and now.

"W-Who says... I-," I stumbled over my words and couldn't figure out what to say in return which made Yeji smirk lightly at me as she knew she won. Once I got ahold of myself, I tried again.

"Who says I want to do the same with you?"

"Well it's not like you leaned in to kiss me earlier, nope surely not that."

"You're annoying, you know that right?"

"I like to think of it as my charm."

"Well that's some charm you got there."

"It worked on you, didn't it?" Yeji's gaze on me intensified as she leaned in even closer until our bodies were pressed against each other but we still had some space between our lips. There were still people walking around us, since this hallway was never empty in the first place but they seemed to be blurred out this moment as I was intoxicated by Yeji as a whole. Before I could reply to her, she overheard the new song that was being played over the speakers and pulled me along with her. "Let's dance."
