🍂 CHAPTER 8 🍂

Bondita's house, Devipur.

"Aur kab tak tu waha upaar baithi rahegi Bondita!!! Ab toh niche aaja meri maa!!"
Said an completely frustrated and tired Sampoorna to Bondita who was sitting on an branch of the huge mango tree with blown cheeks since morning and now it was noon , but Bondita was in no mood to come down.
"Maa nahi behen hoo Teri mai , aur rahi baat neche aane ki toh Mai toh na aane se rahi."
Saying this she again puffed her cheeks.

Sampoorna smacked her forehead at this behaviour of her little sister who was a huge drama queen yet cute antic doer. Finally seeing no option left Sampoorna too climbed up the tree and reached the branch Bondita was sitting and asked her,
"Ab bas bohot huva ab ya toh mujhe ye bata ki baat kya hai ya phir niche uttar ja sidhe Ghar chal samjhi tuu!!"
"Oh ho didi kya tu bhi nahi pata kya kal maa ne kya kaha ??"
Said Bondita in complete irritation.
"Matlab tu abhi bhi vivah Vali baat par atki hai , paar kyu ?? Vivah toh kitni acchi baat hai!!"
Said Sampoorna in glee.
"Hogi par tere liye, mere liye nahi !! kyuki mere liye vivah matlab maa se dur Jana jo mai kabhi bhi nahi karna chahati hoo janno na??"
Snapped Bondita at Sampoorna, who shooked her head at her sister's statement.
" Haa janti hoo par kal tujhe pishi ne samjhaya na ki ye har ladki ke sath hota hai aur hum isse bilkul nahi badal sakte, par ha hum ek baar kar sakte hai.."
Said Sampoorna thinking something.
"Ha pata hai kal maa ne mujhe sab samjhaya, aur mai samajh bhi gayi par koyi yeh kyu nahi samajhta ki Bondita jaise Roshogulle ki bina nahi reh sakti waise hi apni maa ke bina bhi nahi reh sakti. Aur didi tum kya keh rahi ho kya kar sakte hai hum iss mei??"
Asked Bondita.
"Sach kahu toh kuch jada nahi par hum agar kisi tarah se tere honne wale pati ko yeh sab keh de toh saral ho jai sab, par kaise yeh sabse bada sawal hai."
Suggested sampoorna being assertive.
And as soon as Bondita heard her suggestion she felt and spark of hope and immediately she said,
"Arre waah didi kya socha hai tumne hum aisa hi kuch karenge, aur rahi baat kaise to woh sab tu mujhpe chod de!!"
"Toh ab agar tumhara samadhan ho gaya ho toh kya abh hum ghar chale maata."
Asked Sampoorna joining her hands infront of Bondita. To this controlling her giggle she showed sampoorna her right palm as if giving her blessings she said,
"Avshya vaths , hum jaroor Ghar jayenge "
And with this both sisters burst in fits of laughter and both jump from the tree and race towards their house.

Roychowdhury Haveli, Tulsipur.

The whole haveli was hustling and bustling as Som and Batuk were behind Sharvari or we can say Sharvari was behind them as both were being lazy and sleepy as they had slept late the prior night because of the party and she was worried that they are getting late for their school. Som was yelling and asking for his tie whereas Batuk wasn't getting notebook which he had to submit in the school and Sharvari was multitasking packing their lunch box, checking the stocks of grains along with Koyeli didi as well as answering both her brother about the whereabouts of their things from the kitchen. In hall the three, Trilochan, Binoy and Anirudh were sitting, as Trilochan and Binoy were reading their Bengali and English newspaper respectively as this was something completely normal or usual for them but for Anirudh who was reading a book but wasn't able to concentrate as this was something he hadn't seen in years but this surely Something he had experienced when he was a kid and in place of Sharvari it was their mother and she too would be behind him early morning in order to ensure he would never get late for his school, and seeing all this he felt the warmth in his heart as all the memories got refreshed and he was smiling to himself. But he felt an tap on his shoulder and he looked up to find Bihari looking at him with a confused face.
"Kya huva Bihari??"
Asked Anirudh being himself confused.
"Arre yehi toh hum apse kabse puch rahe hai chote Malik ki aap kin khayalo mei kho gaye aur ase akele hi muskura kyu rahe hai??"
Replied Bihari scratching his head.
"Kuch nahi yeh chodo tum , tum mujhe yeh batao ki tum mere pass kyu aaye ho, kuch kaam tha kya??"
Asked Anirudh being himself confused.
"Arre yehi toh hum apse kabse puch rahe hai chote Malik ki aap kin khayalo mei kho gaye aur ase akele hi muskura kyu rahe hai??"
Replied Bihari scratching his head.
"Kuch nahi yeh chodo tum , tum mujhe yeh batao ki tum mere pass kyu aaye ho, kuch kaam tha kya??"
Asked Anirudh, but Bihari wasn't able to answer him as he has completely forgotten for what he has came to Anirudh but still he said,
"Woh chote Malik,hum bhool gaye."
And Trilochan who heard this said in an irritated tone,
"Lo phir bhul gaya ye budbak!! Aise kaise bhool jate ho tum sab ha kaise??"
"Aree Jetha Moshai Jane dijiye koi baat nahi maine hi bheja hai usse yaha Da se puchne ki wo coffee lenge ya chai lenge aur agar chai lenge toh konsi Baba wali English tea ya apki wali Desi chai. Toh boliye Da kya lenge aap??"
Said Sharvari coming from the kitchen and being Bihari's saviour, as she was successful in diverting everyone's attention she indicated Bihari to run from there before he again becomes the centre of attention as now it was Anirudh but before Anirudh could say anything Trilochan said,
"Arre Bhai yeh bhi koi puchne ki baat hai bhala woh toh hamari Desi chai hi piyega."
"Aur aapko Aisa kyu lagta hai Da , arre itne saal vilayat mei raha hai toh English tea hi piyega ye kyu Anirudh?? Sahi kaha na maine??"
Said Binoy getting out of his newspaper.
