6 Feet Deep

Underneath this brave face, I feel as hollow as a grave.
Yet you will not bury me.
Within those 6 feet, I will crawl.
Out of this hole, there is a light that I can see.
Just out of a reach, there's a hand waving "goodbye".
As they walk away from me, I begin to feel defeat.
Suddenly wet at my feet, I begin to rise.
Out of this hole, I burst like a geyser.
On to you, down this tsunami will fall.
