It'll never be enough, don't you worry.
They'll never see your worth, never acknowledge your high value.
They'll blame you for your failures while taking credit for your achievements.
They'll only love you when it's convenient, but they'll share horror stories where you're the villain behind your back.
They'll continue to mold you to their own expectations and then berate you when you break.
You'll think you know your biggest fears until their truths unfold, their veils of deceit lifted.
Only then will you realize all your fears aren't "just in your head".
Don't fret, my dear, you'll never be accepted as you are into their arms.
They'll never be able to protect you from the emotional wars that they've started.
They refuse to see how broken and invisible they've made you feel.
If you can see me,
you'll learn.
You will learn how to love yourself,
so you won't have to ask for it from the trolls around you.
Don't let them pull you under their bridge.
Let me help you out of their reach,
you deserve so much more.
Show off your beautiful soul,
we need more people like you.
