I'm tired as hell.
Apologies for the short chapter, there shall be longer ones in the future, and enjoy.

After giving Luz copies of the same pictures Willow had given her, it was time. Boy was she nervous. Irrelevant now. She was already standing in front of Willow's clubhouse door. With a deep breath, Amity lifted her fist to knock twice, then waited.

The door opened, and unfortunately for Amity, it was not Willow that answered. It was Viney, Emira's friend

"Hey, Viney," Amity muttered

"Hey, Ames, business?" Viney smiled

"I'm looking for Willow"

"Oh, she's attempting to out eat Barkus" that was not something she thought she'd hear. Ever. "Come in"

Amity could feel the stares on her as she walked in. The only ones who didn't notice her, were the dog and the girl eating next to the dog at the kitchen island

"Willow! Willow! Willow!" Some people chanted

"Barkus! Barkus! Barkus!" Other countered. Willow did eat. People had their cameras out as they watched Willow, the challenger, challenge their club pet to an eating contest. And was losing. Hard.

In the end, Barkus finished his bowl and Willow cursed when he yelled that he was done. Some people awed, the rest shouted at Yet another one of Batkus's victories.

Amity approaches Willow as someone untied ropes around her hands

"Hey, Willow" she muttered sheepishly

"Hey...Amity" Willow said

"Can we talk...please?"

"Uh sure" Willow led Amity to her room, closing the door behind her. Deep breaths, Amity deep breaths. Amity wasn't going to sit down. It wasn't her space. And frankly, she was way too nervous to stay in one place for too long

"I know we haven't spoken in a while—" Amity started

"No, you haven't spoke to me" Willow retorted, crossing her arms

"I know, and I came to say I'm sorry" Willow's eyes slightly widened but she waited for Amity to continue "this doesn't excuse how I treated you but, here..." Amity handed Willow her phone "this was after you left my room for the bathroom that day, when we were making that fake YouTube video. I didn't stop recording"

"Amity, are you in here?" Amity's mother's voice rang

"Yes mom" younger Amity dashed to the door with a smile on her face. There stood her mother. Though, her face was not in view

"Amity, Who is that girl you brought in the house?"

"Mom, that's my friend Willow. She's been here a couple times" Amity answered

"She isn't the one in your chemistry class, is she?" Amity nodded "thought so. Amity, you can't be surrounding yourself with people who aren't successful"

"Mom, she's seven. It's not like she's going to own a company at our age"

"Is she the best in her class? Is she even close? Who even are her parents? Keep surrounding yourself with people like that and we as Blights lose our image. And you lose opportunities" Amity looked down and Willow, beside her kept watching, not giving a single reaction "I don't want you surrounding yourself with this Willow any longer, understand?" Young Amity nodded before her mother walked away. Amity didn't say anything and the video ended with her younger self, running, almost bursting into tears to end the video

"I'm sorry I didn't say anything"

"Why now?" Willow finally said, handing her phone back to her

"Because I realized that my parents were wrong and I was a bad personality listening to them"

"No, your actions were inexcusable but I understand. I was in the Your track because my parents wanted me to be. I get it. But that doesn't mean we're friends"

"No, I get that. I just came to apologize"

"Thank you, Amity" Willow gave her a small smile, which in turn gave Amity slight confidence. She did the right thing. And she may not be Willow's friend, but she was thankful. Amity nodded, making her way to the door

"I'll uh...see you around" she said, not knowing what else to say. And she left, leaving Willow shocked in her room.

Willow has to sit down. What she just learned made her rethink everything she thought about her oldest friend.

Hunter took a look at Edric. He wouldn't admit it but he was scared.

"Is this safe?" He questioned, his voice wavering

"Nope"
