"Here is the exit", I snapped back to reality and realized we were already there. His voice seemed less enthusiastic than it was when we first met.

The sky was a dark grey, and it was raining heavily. I looked over to Evan, he was sitting leaning against the wall and was staring at the rain (Y/N moment). His eyes were dimmer than before.

I carefully stepped into the rain before hurrying over to my house. I finally made it and slammed the door shut with my cat Parmesan there to greet me.

He had beige fur and blue eyes.

He sat in front of the door licking his paws while staring at me judgmentally.

"DON'T GIVE ME THAT LOOK. You would be soaking wet too if you had to run back to the house in the pouring rain".

After changing I threw myself onto my bed and slowly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up, at least I thought I did. I was standing in a pitch-black room. There was a woman with long dark brown hair and light skin. She held a diamond sword. Her face was blurry but everything else was clear.

I was shorter than before. She looked down at me.

She felt important to me like I knew her but I couldn't remember her name or what she meant to me, but I felt safe around her.

It stayed like this, me looking at her and her staring back.

Eventually, she moved. She crouched down to reach eye level with me and wrapped her arms around me. I did the same. There was an ear-bleeding roar from behind her, my hands shot up to cover my ears.

"What is that?"
My voice was more high-pitched than normal.

She was completely unphased by it. She brought her arms back to her sides and stood up before turning around towards where the roar came from and walking away. I wanted to follow but when I looked down all I saw were my legs stuck to the ground. And when I looked back up she was gone.

Everything started to fade out.

"I'm sorry"

(A/N: I'm back)
