I woke up in a pool of sweat, with tears running from my face down to my pillow. The dream cut deeper than I thought it would.
Parmesan was lean against my leg, sleeping peacefully.
I looked out the window at all the raindrops outside. It didn't look like much time passed. I tried not to think about the dream.
"I wonder how that Enderman is doing. Evan I think?" I whispered, trying not to wake up Parmesan. "I never got to thank him".
Parmesan stood up and started running around and scratching at the door. "If you want to go in the rain be my guest" I opened the door for him. He stood in the doorway looking around before walking behind me and leaning against my legs, pushing me forwards. He started walking away, slowly stopping now and then to look back at me. I stepped outside, closed the door, and followed behind him.
"Could you go any faster? (That's what she said)" I said trying to block the rain from getting in my face.
I averted my gaze down. Though I wasn't paying attention to where he was going, I was focused on the tiny footsteps left behind in the mud, and the sound of him moving the grass around him.
'Where is this cat leading me to?'
