(A/N: Sorry if I don't post for like months on end. Sometimes I forgot that more then 2k people read this. Also, I'm not that into Minecraft anymore so I'm trying to end this a bit quicker than I wanted to)
"NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE" I struggled to jump onto the roof. A hoard of wither skeletons was chasing me. "I UNDERESTIMATED HOW MANY THERE WERE!". Evan grabbed my arms and pulled me up. "Does this happen often?", I dusted myself off "Only when I'm not as focused. Usually it's fine".
"So what do you need a wither skull for?" He asked, with a genuinely curious look on his face. "My friend asked me to hold into them for him while he rebuilt his house somewhere else. I'm supposed to give them back tomorrow. I'm pretty sure he wants t- I GOT IT" I yelled. Finally one of the wither skeletons dropped a skull. I killed the rest of the skeletons and jumped down to grab it.
Evan sighed "So we can go back now?", I nodded and he teleported us back to the portal.
"Thanks, Evan!".
Evan's POV:
The fact that they even remembered my name came as a surprise to me. I really liked them but the chance of them liking me back, in the same way, is pretty low.
Y/N had wandered off somewhere. "I FOUND A CHICKEN!". "What?" "I found a chicken" they lifted the chicken above their head so it was at eye level with me. "Did it go through the portal?" "Maybe. But it was in one of the tree mushroom things". I pet the chicken's head. "Im gonna name him Strawberry" "Do you name all your pets after food that doesn't exist in this world". They playfully nudged my arm. "Stop Fourth Wall Breaking. We're already on thin ice with the author".

They were building a tiny coop for Strawberry right outside their house. I sat on the floor holding the chicken so he would run off.
"So my friend, the one that needs the wither skulls, he lives really far away. And I was thinking about giving him Strawberry since he likes animals a lot but animals don't spawn in his area that much". I nodded. Parmesan jumped down from the roof, I hadn't noticed that he was there.
"Oh hey Parmesan". He sat at Y/N's feet and meowed several times, catching their attention. "He's right. It's getting dark I should probably go to bed" they explained, placing down the last fence to Strawberry's coop. I placed Strawberry in the fence. "Wait can you understand Parmesan?" I asked. They just ran into their house without saying anything.
They're weird.
