(Y/N's POV)
"Why would he care so much for a cat he doesn't seem to know?"
I slowly progressed into the cave trying to listen for meows or any sign of a cat being near.
"I mean it's cute that he is worried about such a small thing."
I stopped at a sudden sound. A silent meowing followed by a short explosion and another meow.
"Oh.."
I continued walking into the cave, a little faster than before.
Silence
In this scenario, silence is never good. I sped up more, still trying to listen for more sounds.
While walking there was a sound, a shaky 'Meow' came from the side. I looked over at the source of the sound.
A small black cat, a little bit smaller than Parmesan, with orange eyes. Its tail was tucked between its legs.
It looked into my eyes and quickly ran over. It stood behind my legs looking around as if hiding from someone. I crouched down and carefully picked it up, and walked back towards the exit.
I suddenly felt my vision get a bit blurry.
