Evan/Enderman's pov:
I was looking into the cave expectedly. Suddenly there was a sound, a voice.
"Could you go any faster?"(That's what she s- ok I'll stop)
It was Y/N's voice. I watch as they sleepily walked inside, following the white and beige cat that presumably led them here. They looked at me for a split second before instantly looking away.
Their cat turned around and sat down and looked at me before looking back at Y/N, keeping its gaze between us.
"Hey u-umm"
I was genuinely nervous, I always was, even though I tried to sound confident. I had seen Y/N kill mob after mob, mostly for self-defense, but sometimes just for fun. It made me feel scared, but I wanted to stay around them. From what I had seen from the past few weeks they didn't seem to want to kill '⏁⊑⟒ ⟒⋏⎅⟒⍀ ⎅⍀⏃☌⍜⋏', at least I hope not.
"Hey" I spoke a little louder to try and get their attention. They finally looked me in the eyes. "What?". They sounded annoyed, I didn't blame them, it was the middle of the night and they probably didn't get a lot of sleep if any at all.
"Sorry I didn't mean to sound angry-" they looked back down at their cat, crouching down to pick it up."-I just didn't get much sleep".
"No, it's fine, but um-" I tried not to sound too scared. "can you help me with something" they walked up closer to me. "Sure, it's the least I can do after you helped me" they were tired but put on a happy expression anyways.
"What do you need help with anyways?" They asked while rubbing the sleepiness from their eyes. "Well-" I was slightly embarrassed "there's a cat. It ran inside the cave to escape from the rain, and when it saw me it ran deeper into the cave. I'm scared it might get hurt. I would go find it myself but I don't want to scare it anymore than I already did". They crouched back down and placed their cat down next to me. It stared at me with soulless eyes. I stared back.
"I might get lost again though" they send crossing their arms while lifting themself up. "If you do I could always come to find you again," I said, trying to sound confident.
But I very much wasn't
