"I just wanted to say I love you. Ansley. You only you. And I am deeply truly sorry if I had hurt you in anyway. I don't like Ruby at all. I only fancy you. Ever since you posted the note on the 'take notice' board I couldn't stop...

One minute Ansley is in Avonlea and the next she is on a train to Charlottetown. Her mother is due birth at any given time so her family wants to spend time in Charlottetown close remote to a good doctor once she does.
Once they find a hostel Ansley and her mother decide to go out for tea and scones. They find a little shop near a clothing store and go in. As soon as they sit and order Ansley notices a familiar face.
"One moment mom, I notice someone from school" Ansley smiles and gets up and walks over the brown haired fellow and a unfamiliar face. "Gilbert?" the girl questions, knowing it was him but questions for curiosity sake.
"Ansley?" The boy questioned, a bit surprised to see her and embarrassed because of the girl he is sitting across from. The girl across from him was wearing a blue dress and had her hair up, almost golden like Ansley's hair. The girl across gives Gilbert a confusing look about who this other girl is.
"Oh, Winifred this is Ansley, Ansley meet Winifred" Gilbert introduced the two girls. Ansley nods to her and Winifred reciprocates. "So Ansley, what brings you to Charlottetown?" Gilbert questions as it is out of place for Ansley to be traveling so far from Avonlea.
"Oh my mother is due birth at any moment and we wanted a doctor in Charlottetown" Ansley answered looking back to her mother and giving her a slight wave.
"What doctor will you be seeing?" Winifred asks in a polite manner but in a more passive aggressive tone. Ansley is a bit taken back by the tone but answers anyways.
Ansley goes back to her seat in front of her mother and enjoys time with her. The two ladies go back to the hostel and get situated. All three are going to go out and have dinner.
A few days pass and the baby is born. Although since her mother can't ride the train back and Ansley didn't want to miss school, Ansley is currently on the train back to Avonlea. Although this time she won't be staying at her Aunts. She will be staying at home alone.
There is a few reasons she will not stay at her aunts, one of them being Moody. So her staying in a big empty house is rather good then staying at her Aunts.
It's not the first time she is away from her parents, although this time may be longer away. It'll take awhile for her mother to heal and a while for the baby to be accustomed to the outside world. Two weeks Ansley thinks it'll take. Two weeks alone.
Next thing she knows she is in the woods hiking with her fellow classmates. Learning about dancing? Ansley is paying much attention towards it, instead is looking beyond the woods and listening to the creatures of the wild.
Miss Stacy is going on and on about trees and dancing and all the other students are talking amongst themselves. I think the only one interested is Anne and the only one interested in Anne is Charlie. Ansley could tell Charlie has some sort of feelings for her by the way he looks at her.
Moody being clumsy as ever was hopping on rocks until he fell and all everyone heard next was his screams of pain. His deafening screams of pain. It was freighting especially to Ansley, it shook her the most.
Everyone looks at Moody while he is still screaming, Gilbert goes up to him first to check out the cut, it's pretty deep and requires "stitches" Gilbert said.
When Ruby saw the cut she screaming then a little boy a little out towards the distance screamed then Ruby screamed again and fainted when she saw him. Well, everyone screamed at the people in the distance besides Ansley, Anne, and Gilbert.
"Indians!" Tillie screams.
"We are surrounded by s***ges!" Josie inquires. Ansley rolls her eyes at this remark.
Everyone is screaming, the girls run towards Ruby and the guys run towards Moody. Ansley is stuck in the middle. Until Anne says that there is a nearby village so Ansley insisted she goes with Anne.
Anne and Ansley hurry towards the village, rushing to get Moody help. Something he desperately needs.
"Kwe' Mimikej!" Anne says in their native tongue towards two Indian children. Ansley is a bit surprised when she hears Anne speak their language and is fascinated. "Remember me? Can you take us to your village?" Anne requests toward the two kids.
"Uh, wigwam. Mother?" Anne try's to say unsure on how to pronounce it. The two kids look at each other, the old girl nods at the little boy. The little boy gets on Anne's back and they go to the village.
Anne and Ansley arrive back with two other older Indians. One is older than the other and the other is the one who sells the sticks.
As soon as we get back we notice Ruby fainting again at the sight of the Indians. "This is the Mi'kmaq medicine woman. She's here to help" Anne reassures everyone before they bad mouth the Indians.
"Who is dead? My son, he said someone died." The older man Indian said, Miss Stacy assures him no one died and fills them in on what happened.
"Alright, everyone, let's move out of the way now" She begins to clear way for the Medicine lady to work her magic on Moody.
The Indian dude Ansley guess joked because the woman playfully punched him. The lady brings something up to Moody and the guy explains what it is. Something from the weeping tree it's meant to help with the pain.
Moody chews on it, nervous at first but eases into it. As they work their magic, Moody is going through so many emotions and Ansley can tell. What Ansley can't tell is if he needs her or not. Moody begins to panic when the lady pulls out a needle and thread. That's when Ansley goes up to him and says it's alright and that she is here.
Ansley holds Moody's hand to try and comfort him and to not let him look at the wound. He screams more and more until the lady is finished up sewing his wound. Ansley can't even look as she is wincing as well at his pain.
She wraps up the wound and it's all good. Moody just needs to be gentle with it and get rest. Ansley helps Moody get up and helps him walk back. She walks him home and his parents are home so they help him get situated and thank Ansley for her help.
Ansley goes home to her empty house and goes to bed, awaiting the next day.
