Ansley wakes up, earlier then usual. But twice as grumpy. Not only does she have to dance, but not dance with Moody. Ansley gets up and gets ready. Sets her adventures towards school.

"As promised, today we'll be practicing for the county-fair barn dance" Miss Stacy states. Rachel and her husband are their. and all the kids are lined up in front of them backs against the blackboard. Moody glancing at Ansley a little but back to Ruby.

"Mr. and Mrs. Lynde have kindly consented to help us in this endeavor." Miss Stacy continues but three more people enter the school house.

"Since The Dashing White Sergeant needs a set of six." Mrs. Lynde says "I thought we'd better do so."

The six adults begin dancing while the students clap to the rhythm. Ansley glancing over to Moody a few beats or so. Moody does the same. Every so often they would catch each other looking.

Ansley did not catch any of that. Her head got all confused with what steps are what and how many counts are when and what even are counts. She just got a terrible headache from thinking about it all to hard.

Stacy puts the students in a group of six. Moody walks up to Ansley and asks to be her partner. Butterflies, a storm of butterflies erupt like a active volcano in her stomach. Moody asked her, finally. But Ansley just nods and stands in front of him. Containing her stomach of butterflies wanting to erupt into her cheeks to make them a nice rosy color.

Ansley tries to get the counts right but for goodness sake Mrs. Lynde is confusing her. Turn right turn left turn up go down, like she is barking orders. Ansley thinks she stepped on Moody's foot a little at times by purely mistake.

A little towards the end Moody ended up dancing with Charlie somehow then Rachel screamed stop at all the children dancing and having fun. Mood killer. Ruby walks quickly towards the coat room and all the girls follow.

"Whats the matter, Ruby?" Diana questions, "Are you feeling faint again?" Anne says after. Everyone worried about Ruby.

"She's shaking." Jane adds, "You can tell us" Josie says to assure her.

"I... What if i'm pregnant?!" Ruby finally spoke. Everyone is speechless and questioning it, "My mother said if i so much as go near a boy, I might get pregnant, and if a boy touches me, then i'll certainly get pregnant! So i must be. You all could be!" She finishes.

All the girls babel and shriek in disbelief that they are pregnant and refuse that they are. Miss Stacy comes up from behind and Josie screams at her for letting it happen.

"Girls, girls, please, calm yourselves." Miss Stacy assures the girls, "I can assure you, no one will become pregnant from dancing."

"But there was so much touching!" Ruby exclaims.

"That's not how it works. It's not..." She stops trying to find the word "uh.. topical," she takes a deep breath in trying to word it properly for young school girls "There are... many steps to conceiving. First, courtship. Then, of course, marriage. Then you and your husband... m-m-m-may" She stuttering the last part still trying to find the right words "well... with your consent, go down... that cherished path to parenthood" She smacks her lips "Together" She finishes.
