You were now on the top of Starcourt, trying to figure out what this code meant and what it lead to. "Look for Imperial Panda and Kaufman Shoes!" you order, taking a good look at the boxes that were being delivered below you. Dustin holds up the binoculars to his eyes doing the same. "They're with that whistling guy, ten o'clock!" he yells through the sound of heavy rain and thundering. Despite your raincoat, all your hair and body were drenched. "What d'ya think's in there?" Steve points. "Guns? Bombs? Chemical weapons? Whatever it is, they're armed to the teeth.." you look at the armed men below you.

"Great.. That's great.." Steve faltered as he wiped the water dripping from his face with his hand. "Hey, what's in there?" you question, trying to get a look past the doors into the room that just opened up. "Just more boxes!" Dustin shouted in response. Steve and Dustin start fighting over the binoculars, making a loud thud noise and causing the guards to get suspicious and lift their guns. You three had ducked behind the small wall there was on the roof. You had clasped hands with Steve, but quickly let go once you both realized. As much as it felt good to hold hands with him, you didn't want to raise any suspicion from him by holding him any longer.

You could hear someone coming up the stairs from where you guys came from. "Come on!" Steve leads you both out to somewhere safe, free of guards. "Well, I think we found your Russians.." you say. "Yeah, you think?"

-The next morning-

"That keycard opens that door, but unfortunately, the Russian that has this keycard also has a massive gun.. whatever's in that room, they don't want anybody finding it" Dustin explained while pacing back and forth as you sat in front of Steve. You had been in deep thought for a while now. "But there's gotta be a way in.." Steve finally stops swinging his hat and blows in it, making it pop out the top again.

"Well, y'know.." he leans in closer and looks you in the eye. "I could just take em' out.." he challenges. "Take who out?" Dustin asks. "The.. Russian guard? Who else?" Steve looks at Dustin, in which you both look at him in disbelief. "What? I sneak behind him, knock him out n' take his keycard, it's easy!" he spoke as if it really was easy.

"Steve, stop trying to impress Y/N. Did you not hear the part about the massive gun?" Dustin reminds. "Yes, Dustin, I did. And that's why I would be.." he makes a walking motion with his hands. "Sneaking!" he adds.

"Right.. now, let's be honest. Have you actually ever.. won, a fight?" Dustin makes a weird face. "Oh okay, that was one ti-" "Twice. Jonathan. Year prior?" he cuts Steve off. "That doesn't count!" he argues. "Why wouldn't it count? Because it looks like he beat the shit out of you" god, what you wouldn't give to see Steve get his ass kicked.

They continue arguing as you spot something in the room, and an idea pops into your head. You rush out of the room, grabbing all the tips out of the tip jar. "Y/N! Hey! What are you doing??" Steve runs to the window. "I need cash!" you say before almost leaving Scoops Ahoy. "Yeah well, half o' that's mine!" he argues. "I'm going to find us a way into that room! A safe one! And, in the meantime, sling ice cream, behave, and for the love of God, don't get beat up!" You yell, making a megaphone with your hands around your mouth before officially leaving Scoops.

___

You had just gotten back from the County Recorders Office, and you had gotten your hands on all the blueprints of Starcourt Mall. "It is fascinating what twenty bucks will get you at the County Recorders Office" you admire, laying out the blueprints you had gotten on the table in front of you, Steve and Dustin. "Starcourt Mall.. the complete blueprints!" you sang, proud of yourself for your actions. "Not bad!" Dustin praised.
