You had been standing there for a good 3 minutes now. WHat stood upon you truly amazed you, but in a bad way. "The gate.." Steve and Dustin stared at each other. You knew they were thinking the same thing as you. You all couldn't wait any longer. The group wasted no more time before leaving the room.
"I don't understand, you guys have seen this before?" Erica spoke confused as you rushed down the tiny staircase you all had gone up earlier. "Not exactly.." Steve objected. You had noticed a few seconds later that you had never even seen the gate to the upside-down before today, the only reason you knew what it looked like was because of the way your sister's friend Eleven described it.
"Then what exactly?" Erica seemed worried. Stressed. Confused. Every way a normal person would feel after seeing something like that. But not you three of course. With the things you'd seen last year, this was normal. "All you need to know is it's bad.. really bad" you explained, trying to keep the talking to a minimum. Like end-of-the-human-race-as-we-know-it- kinda bad" Dustin added.
"Umm.. Steve? Where's your Russian friend?" Erica quickly changed the subject as she took a look at the ground, only to see that the Russian guard Steve had knocked out earlier was no longer there. Steve's eyes widen as he looks at the ground. Not even seconds later, the alarm starts ringing, filling the entire room and most likely more of this underground base.
"Shit.." Steve ran to the door in which you all had come through earlier, only to see the Russian man from earlier with others. He had obviously told them. You couldn't knock him out any more?? You thought, even though you knew he couldn't.
"Shit!" he swore again, not hesitating to shut the door and run away, signalling you all to follow. The guards must have seen him. This was bad, really goddamn bad..
"Go, go, go, go, go, go!" he pushed all of you through the door that lead to the giant machine.
You had held off the Russians for a few more minutes before being cornered. Dustin and Erica had found some sort of stairway that lead to someplace else, but all you knew is that you would have to stay behind.
"Come on!" Dustin yelled.
"No! Get outta here!"
"No, we're not leaving you!"
"Just go get some help! We'll be okay!"
But would you really be okay?
...
"What are you doing??"
"I won't forget you!"
"GOOO!!" you and Steve both yelled before Dustin was no longer in sight. Before you knew it, the door had busted open and you were on the ground with, maybe twenty guns pointed at you.
The Russians tied you up and dragged you in separate directions. "Steve! Get your hands off him! Get off me!" you squirmed, using every muscle in your body to try and break through but failed. "Y/N!" was the last thing you heard before being shoved into a small room.

Your face felt like mush from being punched in the face. "Who do you work for?" the Russian man in front of you demanded once again. "For the millionth time, I work at Scoops Ahoy!" you replied, I mean.. It wasn't like you were lying anyway, they just didn't believe you. And then, yet another punch, but to the stomach this time. "Agh.. don't you know it's.. it's rude to hit a woman? Did your parents not raise you to be civilized human beings?" your shaky voice spoke out of pain.
