You and the other four had finally gotten to Eddie's trailer after a long, creepy bike ride. You had to share a bike with Nancy, since there were only four bikes, and Steve took up too much space to be able to share with him.
Nancy threw the bike onto the front yard, not really caring where it landed. You and the others stepped into the small trailer to look up and see a big red hole with vines and shit coming out of it. "God damn.." Steve cursed, eyes widened at the sight. "This is where Chrissy died. Like, right where she died.." Eddie quaked, looking at you then back at the gate. "I think there's something in there.." Robin spoke. There was a stick-like thing poking through the gate. "The hell is that?"
The gate finally popped fully open, causing you all to yelp and jump back in fear. Steve stepped toward the gate, looking up only to see Lucas, Erica, Dustin and Max. You were so happy to see that she was okay. "Hey there!" Dustin waved, chuckling at the sight of all of you. "Hi.." everyone greeted awkwardly. "Holy shit, this is trippy.." Robin stared in amazement at the kids on the other side. "Bada-bada-boom!"
Dustin and Lucas had brought out a mattress for you all to land on once you crossed the gate, but it was all stained and gross. "Those stains are uh.. I don't know what those stains are.." Eddie looked quite embarrassed that you all would be seeing his dirty mattress, stained with who even knows what.
"Not quite sure how these physics are going to work, but uh.. here goes nothing" Dustin sighs before tossing up a variety of sheets tied together like a make-shift rope. It just hung there from the ceiling. "There we go! And if my theory is correct.." Dustin muttered, slowly letting go of the sheets, and as expected, it hung there normally!
"All right pull on it! See if it holds!" Dustin ordered. Even though you could see the kids clearly on the other side, the voice was still echoey and faint. Robin wrapped her hands around the rope and hung on it, and to your surprise, it actually held her up. "Guess I'm the guinea pig.." she breathed before beginning to climb up through the gate. After a few seconds, she fell out and onto the mattress, safe and sound. "Oh thank god, that was fun!"
You, Steve and Eddie all looked around at each other, contemplating who should go next. "Alright, I guess I'll go" Eddie did the same as Robin did earlier and began to climb the rope. Once he landed, he threw his hand at Dustin to help him up. "Holy shit, that was fun!"
Nancy had done the same, and it was finally your turn. "See you on the other side.." Steve looked at you, holding you at arms length. "On the other side.." you repeated, before Steve helped you climb the rope, though you didn't really need the help anyway.
You opened your eyes, only to be falling longer than expected, and definitely not through Eddie's trailer. In fact, there was nothing. All there was around you was darkness, until you landed on the cold, hard ground. "Agh! Shit" you grunted before getting yourself up on your feet. You were.. back in Starcourt?
Everything was on fire. It was so hot, but it didn't look like the upside-down, everything looked exactly the way it did on the 4th of July, the day of Billy's death. The only thing was that there was more fire. Way more fire. You were trapped, and the only way to get out was through the fire and out the door.
"No no no, please! Steve?! Nancy! Eddie??" you called out your friends' names, but you heard nothing but the crackling fire, Billy's screams and the screeching of the giant monster before you. You seemed to be in the same place back when you were throwing the fireworks with Steve. On the second floor to the left. Except no one else was there. No one else but you and Billy.
