"Hey uh.. Henderson?" Steve whispered. "Could you maybe clarify what kind of clues we're looking for here?" Steve interrogates, pointing his flashlight at all different corners of the room you were currently in. "The world is full of obvious things, which nobody by any chance ever observes" Dustin spoke in a British accent, making you chuckle a little. "Thanks, that's great.. really helpful..."
Steve seemed to have wandered off somewhere else in the room. You watched him as he pulled out a jar of what looked like spider webs from the ground. Suddenly, you heard him scream. "Woah woah, what's wrong?" Nancy had returned from her room, and stopped in front of Steve.
"There was a spider, a black widow" he quaked. You walked up to them to see what happened, only to see Nancy digging through his hair. She knew exactly what she was doing. She stopped for a good second just to look at you. "Nancy, can you not uh-" Steve spoke, but she didn't seem to get the hint. "What?" she then removed her hands from his head and he walked over to you. You hate that she rubbed it in your face about liking Steve.
"Let's just get back to the investigation.." he insisted as he placed an arm around you. As soon as Nancy was out of view, you finally spoke up. "Okay, what was that??" you whisper-shouted."I don't know, I'm sorry, I tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen" he explained, and you believed him. "I'm telling you, she's doing it on purpose and I don't like it.."

Max had shown you that the lights in the house were flickering, and that they formed some kind of trail. You had all gathered around a chandelier in the center of the house, which wouldn't stop flickering. "It's like the Christmas lights" Nancy recalled. "Christmas lights?" Robin questioned, leaning in close to Nancy.
"Yeah, when Will was in the upside-down, the lights.. came to life" she explained. You remember that Dustin had told you about that a while back. "Vecna's here, in this house, just on the other side.." Lucas trembled, looking over at Nancy.
"I think he just left the room" you guessed as soon as the lights stopped flickering. "Did he hear us?" Max contemplated. "Can he see us..?" Steve wondered. "Headphones" you shot, looking over at Max who had placed the headphones over her head.
"Everyone turn off your flashlights and spread out" you ordered. Everyone did as you asked, but Nancy stayed back. God, why did she have to be so stubborn? "Nancy" Robin called. She sighed and followed your directions moments later.
You had all moved to different rooms until Robin yelled. "I got him! I got him!" you all rushed to the room she was in, but as soon as you all entered, her flashlight turned off again. "I had him.." she sighed. Everyone felt a bit discouraged, but that changed when Steve's light turned on. "Whoa.."
"He's moving, I think he's moving!" Steve notified as he started moving with the light. Miraculously, it didn't turn off, which meant you were going the right way. You all followed Steve up the stairs, when the flashlight suddenly turned off. You had lost him, or so you thought. "Shit, I lost him.."
"No you didn't" Max walked over to where there was a closed door. It seemed like no one had opened it yet. Behind the door, there was a narrow staircase that lead to an attic. "It's an attic, of course it's an attic.." you whispered under your breath. Everyone knows that attics are a bad thing in horror movies.
"Hold up guys, what if he's leading us into a trap?" Dustin warned, but no one stopped. "Guys? Guys!" he repeated, to which still no one stopped or responded. In the attic, there was a little light bulb which hung from the ceiling, and it didn't seem like it would turn off this time, which probably meant Vecna was here, in this room.
All the flashlights then turned on, which was another sign he was here. "Okay, what's happening?" Steve quaked as everyone including him looked up at the light.
The staring went on for a few more seconds, until all the flashlights suddenly blew up, causing everyone to cover themselves using their arms.

"Not to be a wimp, but can I stay in the car for this one? Cause this visit is totally and royally going to suck" Robin requested. You and the group were now in the car driving to go visit Eddie. Nancy and Robin sat in the front, while Dustin, Max and Lucas sat in the middle and you and Steve way in the back. "It'll be fine.." Nancy insisted.
"I just can't stand to see those dull eyes of Eddie's break again, I really, really can't.." Robin mumbled, placing her head into her palm. "At least he can drink himself into feeling better" Steve teased as he stuffed his face with chips and held up the pack of beer you had bought Eddie. "Steve, close your mouth!" you grimaced.
"That's what my mom does.." Max sighed. "Why don't we just give it a try then? Hey Eddie! Good news first this time, we've got you some Dustin-approved junk food, and that six-pack you requested, oh yeah! And we found Vecna! Except now the bad news, he's in the totally different much scarier dimension we told you about, and the gate is closed so we have no way of getting to him, he's like entirely shut off to us, so you're basically screwed!" Robin mocked.
"Wait, maybe don't put it like that.." Lucas suggested, holding an open hand up to Robin. "We're one step closer to finding Vecna. That's what we say, that's what's important" you spoke positively. "You know
Y/N, you don't have to try so hard to seem smart and helpful, we already know you're just doing it for Steve.." Nancy groaned. "Or maybe I just am smart and helpful, and maybe you should stop assuming things about me and picking fights with me for no goddamn reason? How about that?"Nancy scoffed. You hated that you tried so hard to be nice to her, but she always chose to fight with you instead. "When are you two ever going to stop fighting?" Dustin queried. "When she stops acting like a priss and actually tries to get along with me, like I've been trying to do this past half year" you explained before turning around and leaning against the car walls.
"Oh shit.." you swore, looking at the cops outside of the boat house. You all stepped out of the car and snuck behind one of the cop cars to hear what the police chief was saying.
After a few minutes of listening, you all had heard that Lucas' friend Patrick was a victim, and that it happened out on the lake, which meant Eddie had most likely tried to escape on a boat. The police had also disclosed Eddie's full name. "Oh man, this is not good.. this is really not good.." you worried. "Dustin, can you hear me? Hargrove?" Eddie spoke through the walkie-talkie, to which Dustin wasted no time removing it from his backpack.
"Eddie, holy shit! Are you okay?" Dustin trembled as he spoke into the walkie. "Nah man, pretty goddamn far from okay.." he admitted. "Where is he?" you interrogated. "Where are you?" Dustin repeated into the device. "Skull rock, you know it?" he sounded so scared, so worried.
"Yeah, that's near Cornwallis and uh-" "Garrett, yeah, I know where that is.." Steve reassured before running back to the car, to which you all followed soon after. "Hold tight, we're coming, we're coming!" Dustin assured before shutting off the walkie-talkie.
