After a few minutes of chatting with Robin and Steve about what happened, Dustin and Max barged through the entrance of Family Video. "Hey, Steve" he called as he and Max made their way to the counter. "Did you see this?" Steve pointed at the TV playing.

"How many phones do you have?" Dustin interrogated, leaning against the counter. "Someone was murdered.." he reminded. Really, Steve, you don't think we all knew that? "How many phones do you have!?" he repeated. "Two, why?"

"Uh, technically three if you count Keiths in the back" you added, pointing at the back door to Keith's office. "Yeah, three works" Max assures. Dustin removes his backpack and slides it over the counter, knocking off some stuff. "Hey, my pile!" you scream, bending over to the floor to pick everything up. Dustin jumps over the counter, knocking over Steve's tapes. "My tapes, dude!"

Dustin places himself in front of the computer and begins typing in some stuff as you all gathered around him. "What are you doing, man??" Steve looked pissed off and confused. "Setting up base of operations" he replied. "Base of operations..?" Robin looked closely at what he was typing.

"Get off of that" Steve ordered, trying to pull Dustin away but failing. "No, I need it!" he rejected, pulling away from your boyfriend. "Need it, for what?"

"To look up Eddies friends' phone numbers" he replied, to which all your faces grew confused. Well, all except for Max and him. They must've had some weird plan. "Oh, Eddie.. you mean your new best friend who thinks he's cooler than me because he plays your nerdy game?" Dustin swings his head around in frustration. "Yes, and I never said that!"

"Maybe he just is cooler than you" you joke, a smirk printing itself on your face as you look up at him. He grimaces and looks back at the computer screen. "Seriously, maybe on a Monday you can play around in here, but it's Saturday which is our busiest day!" Robin walks over to where the tapes were and begins placing them the way they were earlier.

"Alright look Robin, I totally emphasize, but this cannot wait until Monday" Dustin explained as he continued copying down the numbers on the screen on a clipboard. "What, because calling all of Eddie's friends is an emergency?"

"Correct!" Dustin yelled. Steve carried his hands to his face and rubbed his eyes, walking away towards Robin at the counter. "Do you wanna strangle him or do I?" he interrogates, hopefully joking. "Maybe we could take turns?" she insists. "Let's not strangle anyone, maybe he is actually on to something, I mean with all the crazy shit we've seen, anything is possible at this rate" you put in, trying to get them to participate a little.

"See, this is why Y/N is better at all this crazy stuff than you" Dustin compliments as you jokingly press your hand to your chest. "Can you just fill them in while I do this?" Dustin orders Max as he continues doing what he's doing. "Fill us in on what?" Robin asks.

"That was.. Chrissy?" saying those words made you want to cry, even if you weren't close with her. You knew it was someone from your cheer team but you couldn't tell who when you saw her on the floor this morning. "Yeah, I saw her go into Eddie's trailer last night, and it was the same uniform you saw this morning" Max explained. A sad look painted itself on your face. "You ok?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm okay" you lied, but you tried your hardest not to cry. Steve looked worried, and he knew how upset you were. He walked up to you and wrapped his arms around you tightly and you did the same. You two held each other in a tight embrace for a good minute. He kissed the top of your head and finally let go.
