That Feeling

We were waiting for Y/N at the park where we went as children. At one point, while Xingqiu and I were talking, we heard fast, loud footsteps and a very familiar voice.

"Guys! Sorry if you've been waiting me for so long." Y/N said, catching their breath. I smiled at that scene as Xingqiu tried to reassure them. "Don't worry, come on." I said while patting their head.

Shortly after, we leaned on the tree where we climbed on when we were little, good times.

Then we started talking about the things we wanted to do this summer, but actually...nobody really had any plans.  Then Y/N's kind voice mesmerized me, turning my cheeks a light pink and Xingqiu, noticing this, looked at me with a grin.

"Guys, what do you think if you come to my house tomorrow night? So we can watch a movie, no one else can come besides ... you. My mother knows only you!" asked Y/N.  I got excited and nodded with a smile, same thing Xingqiu did.

Shortly after, we found that it was getting late, at least for Y/N. "Guys, I think I have to go, my mother will be worried, but i'll text you later, if I have time, bye!" Y/N said getting up.

"Bye!"  Xingqiu and I said, waving goodbye, then when Y/N was far away, Xingqiu without hesitation, said: "You like Y/N! It can be seen from a mile away, now don't deny anything because you don't believe it either." Did he just shout it? Y/N probably heard it! Now they will hate me, good.

"Point one: Is there a need to scream? Calm down! Point two: no, I don't like them, we are...just friends." I said, hesitating to say the last part, it's been a few days that if i think about Y/N... I feel a tingling inside me and as soon as I hear that name, i start to smile.

"Mh, i'll pretend to believe you Mr. Popsicle."  Xingqiu said jokingly. Then, we began to walk home.

Am i falling in love? I have a feeling i am...
