Ice-Boy's Investigation

Today is the day! Tonight i will find out who likes Y/N! And if i don't, i'll probably force Xingqiu to tell me who it is, or i'll burn his entire library.

I was showering since i don't wanna smell like a rotten fish, i wanna smell nice around my best friend...especially Y/N but these are details.

After i got out of the shower i dried myself up and brushed my hair.

I walked into my room and opened my closet, to see if i had something to wear for the party.

Oh, i found something! I mean i hope they don't see me as a smurf tho.

I decided to wear a blue shirt and light beige pants, and a...necklace, elegant, right?

A little part of my hair will be in a tail, being a little bit long.

Then i went to choose the earrings, i choose the tiny black ones.

(Like the earrings Itto wears!)

But, let's not forget my investigation.

I called my group.

Aether, Bennett, Razor, Xingqiu, and Venti.

Yes i know, Xingqiu will be literally useless but i will force him to give us clues to find out who it is! I mean, also the 'Calling Group' thing will be useless because Xingqiu said it's someone from it...

Skipping the chatting between me and my group in the call, i just know that i heard someone stuttering, i'm keeping an eye on him, he's suspicious.

I heard the doorbell ring.

Then, i went to open the door to find in front of me; them.

"Okayokayokay, why did you call me if i said i won't tell you who It is? I mean, i don't know if it's someone from our group, our group is literally close to Y/N, i can't foresee things! I'm just pretty sure there will be someone who likes Y/N besides...you." Xingqiu said, sitting on a chair of my room.

Wait, IDONOTLIKEYNWHATISHETALKINGABOUT.

"Woah...You like Y/N?Didn't expect that honestly." Aether said, sarcastically.

"Haha, how funny, i'm not sure of my feelings but, i just want to make sure nobody likes them for now, okay?" I said, trying to hide my blushing face with my hand, obviously failing.

"Razor thinks Chongyun really likes Y/N." Razor said, doing a little smile.

"Do you...think of a name this project will have?" Bennett asked.

"Yeah, Bennett's right, like some code-name." Venti said.

"Mhh... 'IBI'?" I asked, putting a hand under my chin, thinking for other names.

"And...what is that supposed to mean?! It sounds like a robot's name!" Xingqiu said, giggling.

"Hey! It means 'Ice Boy's Investigation'."

"H-HELLP- I-Ice Boy? Oh no, i don't think i can take this... I'm gonna die! This is so funny!" Venti said wheezing, this isn't funny at all!

"Hey! Ice Boy is...the nickname Y/N gave me." I said, i'm burning, i'll be honest here, i'm probably blushing so hard right now.

"Aww, what a cute couple!" Aether said, joking.

"Mh...To be honest i like that name! We can't think of anything else." Bennett said.

He's right tho.

"Mh, so that will be the name. So now, repeat with me, THE PROJECT IBI STARTS!" I shouted, to make me hear.

"THE PROJECT IBI STARTS!" They all shouted.

Venti said it happily, like it was mission or something.

Razor said it, quietly but still said it doing a little smile, raising his arm.

Xingqiu said it confused, looking in the air, exhausted.

Bennett and Aether did the same as Venti.

We all said our goodbyes and promised to talk about this when we will go to the party.

Then, it was like 5PM so my mom shortly after the group left, she returned and greeted me.

"Ughh...i'm so nervous." I said, sitting on a chair in the kitchen, while my mother was preparing dinner, she was preparing dinner early today to make me at least eat something before leaving.

"Huh? Why?" She asked, turning around.

"Ok, i'll be honest, i might have a crush on...Y/N." I said, muttering their name.

"Oh my God! My boy has a crush! Oh, i knew it would happen some day!" She sang, this is getting embarassing now, great...

"I want to impress them." I said, leaning on the wall.

"Honey, to impress them you just need to be yourself. I'm sure they will love you for who you are, not for who are you trying to be. You and them are friends for a long time now, never give up." She said smiling, giving me hope, she was right.

"You're right...You're right!" I said, then smiling.

I want...

I want to protect them, i want to feel them in my arms, i want to be called 'their lover', i want to be called 'Y/N's boyfriend' by people who don't know me, i want to stay with them, i want to sit close to them while my hand is searching for theirs, i want to sing love songs for them...

The rest of the time i did all the other things smiling.

It was now 7PM, so i decided to start dressing.

I undressed myself first and dressed myself again fast, being excited for the night.

'This is going to be amazing.' I tought to myself, smiling.

Then, my hand reached for the doorknob, but before going outside, i said my goodbyes to mom, who was smiling at me.

Everyone who loves Y/N, get out of the way, because i'm coming!
