YANKUMI'S SACRIFICE

CHAPTER 23

                                                                    HARUCHIYO'S POV

I meet Yankumi when my Brother brought me To Big Shin's house,years ago,She was showing Emma how to cook.She seems to be close to Black Dragons too,everyone was soo Polite infront of her.She tried to talk to me but I just ignore her,she was a Stranger after all.

Then when I was looking for Mikey I Meet her again,she was folding some cloths,

"umm..hi,do you need something?"she ask me as she put down the cloths she was holding

"umm..actually I'm looking for Mikey"I said as I look away

"uhh mikey?i think she's playing with Baji in the backyard"she replied as she look away too and was about to continue folding some cloths

"there aren't there I was there just now,if they are there I would notice them,I'm not blind y'know"I said to her without minding that she's older than me

But to my shock my brother Takeomi and Big Shin saw as I talk to her

"hey haruchiyo,is that how you talk to your elder?do you know she's 10 years older than you?"takeomi said as he said sorry to Yankumi and was about to take me away

Why would he say sorry to that woman,she's just a weak housemaid

"stop it takeomi,you're angry at your brother because he talk to me like that when you're the reason why he talk like that"the women said as she stands up and took me away from My brother

"Yankumi don't intrefer when I'm scolding my sibling"takeomi said as he gave her death glare

I was expecting her to let me go,but she gave my brother a death glare too

"scolding is for kids who did wrong things,but your brother just ask me where Manjiro is,why would you scold someone who just wanna ask something,are you dumb?"she said as she look away from my brother and look at me with a smile

"I'm sure Mikey and baji are In backyard maybe you just didn't see them,but anyway lets go I'll bring you to them"she said and just walk pass my angry brother who just stayed still.

I can still hear Big Shin laughing at my brother from far away,who the hell is this Woman that even my brother can't talk back to her,

Then she brought me to the backyard,Baji and mikey seems to be close with her too,Baji even called her 'Sis'.

While playing I ask mikey and Baji who that woman was,they told me That her name was KUROKAWA YANKUMI and she lives at Mikey's house and take care of him and Emma,mikey talk about her as if she was an Holy Person who does nothing wrong,maybe my brother respect her because she's Big shin's friend.

After Playing,my brother told me were going home,I was expecting him to scold me when we got home but he just talled me,

"respect Yankumi,she's a very important to me,to Shin,Wakasa,Black Dragons,and even to Mikey and baji"he told me as he just go to bed

Very important person?what is she?the muse of black Dagons?

The next day,my brother and I went to Mikey's house too,and ofc That woman was there too,but she was weird this time,she doesn't talk to me,she use to say "hi,good morning" but today all she did was talk to my brother and left,is she offended because I used to ignore her?i mean she's a stranger after all,

I told mikey and baji about it they told me That 'Yankumi' wasn't weird to them today,so why is she acting like that to me?

Then at noon she was cooking something for mikey and baji to eat when I gather my courage to talk to her,

"h..hey,Yankumi,I think your cooking too much today,you used to cook just enough for Mikey,Big Shin,Baji,and Emma before"I said as I avoid eye contact with her

She smiled at me and said

"Black Dragons are having a meeting here today,I'm cooking something to eat for them too,why do you wanna help me?"she said as she look at me with a wide smile

"huh?me? I only know how to cook basic foods,and I don't even know what this your cooking"I said as I look at the food she cooked

I've never this foods before but gotta admit this look and smeel good too

"this are Filipino food,I only know how to cook filipino food,and I guess you never eat something like this huh?i cook this everytime Black Dragons came here,they said it's there favourite so I keep cooking it"she said as she turn to look if the foods done

"ohh I remember Mikey telling me about you being filipino,but what is this called it look different"I said as I look at it with a disgusted face

"hahaha,that's dinoguan,it's a food from the Philippines try it"she said as she hand me a spoon

"are you sure it's ok for me to eat this?it doesn't look good"I said as I hesitaite to touch the food she gave me

"yeah,it's good,I used to eat this a lot at my country"she said as she gave me this wide smile

I toke the spoon,and try it.i must admit it does taste good,but I still think it look disgusting tho.

Yankumi let me taste everything she cook,and it was unexpectedly yummy,no wonder my brother always said he's eating at Big Shin's house everytime Black Dragons have meeting.

After eating Yankumi told me to help her out by delivering the food she cook,when Yankumi told them food is ready they all run to her with a smile on there faces,my Brother,Big shin,Wakasa,and Benkie have there food ready in a different table ofc.

"really Yankumi you cook different food every single day,that I'm scared that one day you'll give us poison next"Wakasa said as he look at yankumi with an insulting smile

"wakasa,if one day I do kill you,I'll make sure it's in a way you will suffer before dying"Yankumi told him as she smiled to him with an insult

"there they go again,if you guys fight all the time you might really end up together"Big Shin said as he smile at wakasa and yankumi,

"Shin will you keep saying that even if Wakasa and I end up killing each other?"Yankumi said as he looks at Big Shin with a disgust face

"huh,haruchiyo?the hell your doing here?"brother said as he looks at me with an angry face

"uhh...umm,I was ju-"

I wasn't able to finish when Yankumi said.

"he help me cook,the food you're eating now is the food haruchiyo prepared,he's amazing isn't he?'"yankumi said as he smiled at my brother

Help you my ass,I just help you by eating the food you prepare

"really,haruchiyo?is it true"my BROTHER ask

Before answering I look at Yankumi who was smiling at me as if she's telling me to say yes

"umm...yeah,a little"I said as I avoid my brother's stare

"see I told you takeomi,you have an amazing brother"Yankumi said as she smiled at me and my brother.

After that Yankumi was the only person who protect me from my brother's scolding and help me take care of senju too,she teach me how to cook some filipino food,we became close and she told me to start calling her 'sister',so just as she wanted I called her sister,we became closer and closer everyday.but it was before she left.
