Chapter 38

My vision was so blurry. I didn't know where I was. My breaths were heavy. I am feeling like I have been running for ages. I knelt down, closed my eyes, breathing deeply. I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I didn't have to turn around to see who it was. I know this touch. She stand against me. I hugged her by her stomach. She wrapped her hands around my head. She was running her hand in my hair in order to calming me down. I pulled away. She knelt down against me, cupped my face.

"Open your eyes, Veer" She said softly. I could hear  sadness voice, it felt like my blues were transferred to her. I opened my eyes. I saw her but again my vision was so blurry.

"Where are you Anu?" As I said that she hugged me. I hugged her tight.

"Please come Veer, take me back with you. I don't want to leave here." She said, I felt her tears on my shoulder. Suddenly she wasn't in my arms anymore. I tried to stand but couldn't. I felt helpless. My breaths were heavy again. I ran out of breath.

He suddenly woke up with jerk. He was breathing heavy.
It was dream. He thought. Another day and Another dream of her. It has been 7 months since their wedding day. In this seven month, half of the time he  didn't sleep and when he slept she always came in his dream.

He stood up from bed and came in balcony for some fresh air. 7 months He didn't know how he had survived this 7 months without her.
Time is flying but he is still there with his girl's memories. In this 7 months they have searched for Anu in every part of country where Karan could take her but no sign of her.

"Virat..." Ritika knocked on his bedroom door. He was in Mumbai at Rohit place. They don't want him to be alone.
"Breakfast is ready, come on.." She added.

"Coming.." he said and took quick shower before going for breakfast.

He sat with on dinning table. Ritika served him. And sat against Rohit.

"Did you packed your stuff for tour?" Rohit asked him, taking one bite from his food.

"Yeah" Virat said. They were going on tour of England. Leaving today. Virat was taking his breakfast when his phone rang which was on table.

An International Number.

They stared at each other. Before He picked up the call Rohit told him to put it on speaker Virat did as he told.

"V-Veerrr.." Anushka's voice came from other side.

"Anuuu" He immediately grabbed his phone in his hand. "Anuu where are you just say to me.." Virat said, He stood up form his seat.

"V-Veer I-I am..." Her voice was cracking and she was about to say something. There was sound of crash as if someone threw her phone on ground.

"Anu? Hello?" He tried. No response he waited for some time. He heard her scream at other side of phone.

"ANU" He said as loud as could. Call ended. He shared glance with Rohit they both ran to car. They went to police station.

"Officer, This Number." Virat gave them number from which Anushka has called. This wasn't first time Anushka tried to call him. She tried to call him two times before as well but police wasn't able know her location. He hoped they got her location this time.
