And why are you here?

I woke up in an odd place, white everything. I was then met with the god of life and fertility, taweret.
"Y/n! Welcome, welcome! Would you like something? Food, a drink?" Taweret offered
"Why am i here exactly?" I asked
"Your currently knocked unconscious I believe. So your here with me!" Taweret said.
She was more of the rare cheerful gods other then someone like anubis or nephthys, one god of the underworld and another the god of air.
"Lovely, Taweret. What is going on currently?" I asked hastily
"Your currently passed out and injured while Khonshu is slowly healing the wounds while arguing with the heroes over the certain quote on quote custody of you!" Answered Taweret
"That's great." I said sarcastically.
I looked around seeing an endless lake outside of the building we were currently in, Taweret's gold flashed into my eyes for a split second making me blink my eyes profusely.
"Awhhhh. Look. The dead pigeon actually likes me. How sweet." I said sarcastically
"Hah! Well. I assume you'll be here for a while!" Said Taweret
"And your here.... Why?" I asked
"Oh! Im one of the many gods classified god of life. Like Osiris!" Taweret replied

"And why isn't Osiris here?" I asked
I hadn't really known Osiris, all I knew he was a sort of green guy and was also god of demons as demonstrated in an old hieroglyphic.
"Good question! Well, he is the god of demons too so he might not be trusted??? But what's better then the fist of Khonshu and taweret the god of fertility together!!" The hippo exclaimed
"Yeah." I said while looking around
In my head I was actually quite sympathetic for Khonshu although hating his guts for pulling me into this lifestyle. He was trying to defend my choice of accepting the offer to become moon knight and defending the secrets I keep.
"Am I currently in danger?" I asked
"Things could get heated over there, ooooh! Some of the Norse gods are there! Ho-" taweret was cut off
"Get to the point." I sighed
"Right! Right! What I'm basically trying to say is that Khonshu wants you to be his moon knight even though he's all cold and isolated." Taweret said
That seemed far from the point but I guess I'd just believe that was the truth and ask no more questions that was related to violence.

"Y/n, wish to see your current state?" Taweret asked kindly
"Sure." I replied
Everything went dark but soon bright, I was back in my own body. "Look, we do not want harm. We just need a reason to believe you." Captain America stated as I felt dust crumbling, Khonshu really needed to clean that mummification up. I couldn't see, just hear.
"Belief goes both ways." Khonshu said
"Look, Y/n is passed out with 5 bullets in each leg because of ignorance. What should happen, they die or live?" Tony stark said
"Correction, 3 in each leg. It seems as though you think they'd die from this. I've seen worse." Khonshu stated
Khonshu, using his brains and ability to get a point across the table instead of pettiness? Seemed almost impossible.
"And the ignorance part is put onto none other then you. Ignorance and immaturity was shown when you stood there as Ms. Romanoff came running yet you watched as Y/n was shot trying to help her because you were staring. I do not see ignorance in Y/n" Khonshu said
Khonshu actually complemented me for once in his life considering he doesn't die of age while I'm 31.

Everything went dark again as taweret appeared.
"Hi! Welcome back! Was it fun?" Taweret asked as she looked me up and down
"Mhm." I replied taking a seat on one of the white mats.
Taweret was liked by many of the gods for having the happiest and most forgiving attitude and I couldn't blame them, Even Khonshu doesn't dislike taweret as much as he dislikes other gods on a daily basis.
"When am I waking up?" I asked
"I don't seem to have the answer. But at least you have some company!" Taweret said while sitting on the mat too.
We sat there as she told story's of Egypt and her many of her avatars, she seemed to only have about 10 since her existence. The white building wasn't a very nice setting as it looked like a mental asylum, wouldn't be the first time something has looked like this. I looked over as I started to feel a little lightheaded.
"Ack. I'm so light headed." I stated holding my head trying to snap out of it
"Your waking up! Bye! Come and visit me!" Taweret said waving happily
I waved as everything went dark before I was back to earth.
