*choir class, 12 pm at musical highschool*
Y/n opens the door to class and takes a look inside "phew.. no teacher yet I made it in time"
A soft giggle is heard "we won't have a teacher today silly, it's free period class today" y/n turns to the right and spots the choir's very own fairy, Kim Chaewon, she's smiling softly
Y/n puts a hand behind their neck and chuckles awkwardly "hehe.. right.. well then sorry I'm late everyone" Chaewon giggles again
"Well, let's start ~ Mrs.Lee left us notes on the board for what we can do today. Everyone is free to choose from there" she looks at y/n "hey, you wanna do this assignment with me?" She points at the blackboard at the last assignment listed
It reads " pair up and practice harmonies with each other. Any song is fine. Try to harmonize without looking up anything - Mrs.Lee "
After you read it you look up at Chaewon and nod "sure, did you have a song in mind?"
She smiles and nods " yeah, I do. But let's go to one of the group rooms " she smiles. you agree and go with her
"This should do, so I thought about this song...hold on I have the papers here " she looks through her plastic folder that she brought and takes out a few papers " here" she hands you two of them
"You're very prepared aren't you?" You chuckle
She nods " Yeahh I've been wanting to try this song for a while so I thought this was the perfect opportunity "
You read the title of the song and as soon as you do you feel your heart skip a little harder .. and questions form in your head... what - this song.. and she wants to sing it with me?? "Well that's a little unexpected. A really nice song tho.. I love you 3000. Haven't heard it in a while" ... oof I managed to speak.. I hope she doesn't notice I'm a little too excited hehe...
"Should i comp on the piano?" You ask her
She smiles when You show interest in the song she chose "that would be great. Please do. So should we take turns singing the melody and the harmonies? "
You nod in agreement " sure. We can split it with every other verse and every other chorus right? "
We split up the song and decide who harmonizes where and then y/n finds the right key to play in "okey m ready when you are Chaewonsshi ~ "
She smiles and nods. And y/n starts to play the piano
Chaewon sings the first verse and you harmonize with her. You make sure to record it all for Mrs.Lee as well
" Baby, take my hand

And I love you 3000" ~
The feeling you get when you sing with her. The feeling you've always loved. All the butterflies in your stomach dance with the music as your voices harmonize with each other. And once again you feel that feeling. The feeling you always get when you and Chaewon are together... it's always the strongest when you're singing together.. you love her with your whole heart.
You play the piano and sing with Chaewon in perfect harmony til you reach the final line
"Pa da da da da dam
And I love you 3000" ~
You finish it together looking at each other eyes. Smiling softly. You wonder if maybe.. she's thinking the same
"Kim Chaewon... I love you 3000 ~ " you say without thinking. It just feels right.. so the words just flow out. Realizing what you've said you panic for half a moment. But with her reaction. And her reply you feel only warmth
Her eyes widen and the smile she wears grows brighter " wait.. really?" Before you can reply she throws herself at you and hugs you tightly
" I love you too Y/N " ~
