"Dismiss." The judge dismissed the case after giving the judgement and I slumped down on the chair assigned for the prosecutor with my eyes closed

"We did it." I muttered looking at the culprit who raped a 15 year old getting dragged outside the court by the police

"Thank you, Ma'am." I heard her parents and I turned to look at them
"I just did my duty." I replied and pain was crystal clear in their eyes

I guess, they would have borne and helped her heal from the extreme pain she suffered but her death became unbearable.... Yeah, she did died on the spot.

"Should we leave?" I asked them lowering my gaze as I just don't know how to soothe their pain, but time definitely does.

"Yeah, please." Mr. Gupta replied and I led them a way protecting them from media
