After a day of staying in the stuffy air of the Leaky Cauldron, Hermione decided to go to the coffee shop on the corner.
As she started to walk there, she started to smell cinnamon and cake. She started to speed her pace but Ron was faster. She fell short and was caught by him.
"Where have you been! All day, and you haven't come home!" Ron yelled at Hermione.
"Maybe I needed a vacation." Hermione tried to break away from Ron's grip but couldn't. After one whiff of his breath, she could tell he was once again drinking.
"Why would you of all people need a vacation? You come home by four every day." Ron was using Hermione to balance himself.
"Maybe you should try working at the Ministry a few days and you could see how stressful it is!" Hermione finally broke free and went running for help.
Ron started chasing after her until he passed out on the side walk.
As Hermione stepped into the coffee shop, she started to feel sick. She ordered an iced coffee and sat in the corner. She thought about what she would do with Ron ready to get her at any moment.
